I recall the first time I heard the Bee Gees sing and how their sound made me stop in my tracks to listen intently. That was 1975. Best singer/songwriters ever. Robin could have been a comedian or a teacher.
All the BeeGee brothers brought their own personality. As brothers they had a lot of success despite some of their problems. As Robin would say in several interviews “ego issues”. I still can’t believe the amount of recording materials they produced. They all the same passion - music. Love them all. We can’t hear them together live today, but we have their music that we can listen to all the time.
Would have been nice to see a few photos of him younger before he was so gaunt and ill. Lovely voice both speaking and singing. Could listen all day. Robin deserved more leads! Nice to hear the story from the horses' mouths. Wish they had recorded songs like "Islands in the Stream" and "Chain Reaction" themselves rather than give them away. They should have had more hits but the listening public can be fickle and they didn't receive the promotion the should have had after the "disco" era. The loss was to the fans and the music world in general.
Love his voice and humble what ever he did, good singer and a song writer same his brothers, love the Bee Gees, they are superstar and legend my Idols🩷❤️🧡
A very interesting and enlightening history of one of the best songwriter/ singing groups in the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. I miss them and I am broken hearted. ❤😢❤😢❤😢❤😅
He describes the train crash like a horror story. I can see the train. He was a poet! The Bee Gees make me believe in destiny. That much talent in one time and place cannot happen accidentally.

I Adore ALL their early music and also much of their post Disco/Fever era. But that music put them back on the Map and soaring in the Charts and secured their financial future. But they paid a Very High and Unfair Price for their immense success with the Disco/Fever genre. The BRUTAL disco backlash against them lasted for Years and Years!! #DANG

Yes but they regained fame and success in the 90s, their last decade together was was of their best times. They at last got the awards they deserved!
