- When you want to stand out you have to have a different vision of creativity. I choose the FI IB3 v2 15" to do just that. There's a twist to this setup. Is it completed or is there something else you don't know yet? Just know that it is completely fiberglassed in (100% sealed). Stay tuned for future videos and updates.
There will be several more videos and probably a good walk around video to explain the new setup. Infinite baffle setups are not common for Dodge Chargers.

Thanks. I advise that you do some homework. Not a lot of shops can do it properly and it's expensive. In your 06' do your rear seats fold down? I watched almost all of this guys videos but I started with this playlist.

They do fold down. I have my box/sub facing forward with seats down and Bangs like a mofo but I'm old school and want that baffle so I can have my trunk space back . Lol.
You ever play with the seat up? Any change in loudness?
Playing with the seat up would defeat the point in being an Infinite baffle. Only by mistake and it just muffled the sound.
I'm currently building this subwoofer into my Phaeton, do you give it the full 900 watts?
When I'm running my setup free air, it seems to almost hit x-max with around 200w. Did you set a low pass filter?

I have my amp set on low pass filter. You might need to adjust your head unit subwoofer output. and amplifier gain. Car audio fabrication has a CZcams channel and has plenty of videos on setting your amp.
I have never heard an infinite baffle in person before…. How different is it compared to a regular box?

Very low and warm tone. It throws the waves outwards from the car more. High spl use higher tone waves and they dont reach and far. Two 18s or even one 18 infinite baffle sub are going to sound better then anyone elses around because you are getting lower tones that expand further away from the vehicle.

I was actually looking at exactly the same setup in.my acura tl 3g. What do you think overall is the sub enough or do you wish you had more output? How is it musicaly? Accurate? Low end? Does it distort at high volume? Also after you ordered how long till you got it?
It took 2 months due to covid-19. It was worth the wait. It does it all. It can expose the quality of different types of music beats / tempos. It's accurate and low. Tune and power properly.

McGuire's and Turtle Wax have particular wax for black cars. I don't see too many people buying them at all though. I do recommend the McGuire's hybrid liquid wax as in my other video.

You would have the same response. The only thing is you would have motor noise and you might smell the coil when the temperature gets high.

Then you would be creating an enclosure negatively effecting cone travel. It defeats the purpose.

I’m looking to do a total sq build for my next system, and that will include an ib sub , I’ve been using a single 12 sub in a box for the past 15yrs or so , and I get the impact that I want, I’m planning on stepping up to a single 15 or 18” ib sub for this next build , so my question to you is would I get pretty much the same impact “thump” wise from an ib sub using less power but having more cone area , compared to an enclosed single 12” using more power, if that makes sense?
Yes you can achieve a surprise amount of base with moderate power. Of course in any case cone area is king. I have watched a lot of videos from this channel to learn about things before I got started.

FI subwoofers are only sold by Fi unless you buy one from someone. Production varies because their hand built. I waited two and a half months for mine.
