This is our Brand New Bahrain1 Racing 2022 NHRA Pro Modified Race Car. This is the car that will compete in the 2022 NHRA Pro Mod season. This video covers its construction, as well as the success and failure of testing in Bahrain. - Auta a dopravní prostředky

Great point Vince. Back in the late 70's I had the good fortune to spend some time with Rick Mears, the Indy Car champion. He shared the same bit of wisdom and I have never forgotten it. You don't know where your limits are and what you need to improve until you push yourself past them. Find your failure point, back off a tad and start working to improve from there.

That's a mean hot rod. That's neat how you did the shifter. One of probably a hundred little things that you built into this car. Bickle cars are known for being awesome and light, so you started out on a great foundation. Thank you for also including the personal side. @@SteveJacksonRacing amen to that! I've never built motors on that level, But even just stock builds, timing belt replacements, etc. that require timing of the engine or anything like that is always nerve wracking. With that much cheddar on the line....I'd probably pee a little. lol

Its mostly cost and availability. The RacePak Data logger is my preference. When it comes to racing, I always try to keep it simple

I just wish you could have built something other than another Camaro. Between half of the NHRA Promods and 80% of the Prostocks it's bland.
Me too. But it's up to the sanctioning bodies to put a penalty on building new body style cars. I wish we had all old cars. But I can't purposefully build something slower to look cool. I proposed a 25lb weight penalty for the new Camaro this year and an additional 25lbs next year, but NHRA wants no part of it. Hopefully it can get some traction and we can start building old cool stuff again.
