Honestly would love eze he's perfect to come in as the 8 or winger for creativity
I love Eze but it's a strange fit for me, he's not really a left winger these days and his best position is Maddison's LAM position and 50-60m is a whole lot of money for a squad option in our current position.
No offense but you don't know what you're speaking about. Eze can play anywhere across the front line he's not a "conventional winger" but he doesn't need to be, and please understand he starts, hes not a squad player, hes far better than Maddison who lacks leadership and charismam Maddison has a more varied final ball. That's it. Eze has better retention, use of touch, smoother body orientation better angles, on the ball game tempo, elusive feet. His ball carrying and dribbling skills are some of the best in the league along with his occupying of space and one touch play. Maddison doesn't provide that, he's good for transitional games and receiving in specific areas, and having open space to play into.eze will make space and openings by himself. The issue with eze is his consistency which is attached to his mental. But Spurs need an Eze a proper Superstar player who creates magic.
Finally, someone to compete with Madders! I think we should do it pronto!
He will be healthy for 20 games, but don't hold your breath for 5 on the bounce.

Eze playing as our equivalent of Grealish at City would be ideal... Give him space high and wide left, tell him to take on his defender and work an opportunity on goal... It his bread and butter!

Sell Kulu, Holberg, Lo Celso, Royal, Son, Skipp, Sessegnon, Ndombele, Werner (send back), Gil, Veliz and make it happen. Selling those players should nett us 230mill plus Levy says we have 150m to spend. Thats around 350mil plus to spend.

I would love to see Olmo come to Spurs over Eze. Eze is a decent player, but Olmo is absolutely what we need to give exra back up to Maddison. Olmo has so much technique and quality. I would take both but mainly Olmo.
I remember seeing Olmo about 3 years ago. He's a very good player.

Hey mate I’m an Aussie fan, check out how big Ozspurs are. Chapters in every state. FA has done a horrible job with allowing broadcasters dictate games, how does a game in Australia effect the team who hasn’t played in Europe or went far in domestic competitions. Bugger off, Aussies fans want to see our lads at home, plus the MCG can fit 90,000 people.

If we don't keep Timo, Marcus Edwards is another option. He is homegrown.
Lazio's Daichi Kamada is another midfield option. He isn't happy with the limited playing time. Not sure he is a free transfer or just 1 year left in the summer. Either way I think he is available for a loan or move.
Quality player. On the left as a 3 with Sonny & kulu. Maddison, Sarr & Joao Palhinha in midfield. We have players like skip, Gil, Pierre, Spence etc offer Palace 50mil plus a player & same offer for Fulham with Palhinha. Sounds easy to me 😂 COYS.

If the F.A. want to ban end of season friendlies ..then the clubs should ban players playing for England in friendlies ... both pointless
It literally has Sweet FA to do with the FA 😄 although the timing is crazy playing 3 days after end of season in Oz. However our boys can’t moan about too much game time this season!!!

As much as I’d love Eze, the priority no 6 & 9 and full back cover first. The HG quota is our biggest headache. We need to offload / sell the 10+ players who don’t fit Angeball / not good enough ASAP in June. Get biz done early please, our recruitment team must have multiple plans / contingencies in the works now ready for end of season. MASSIVE SUMMER INCOMING
TBH I don't think Madders or Eze play LW. Both are CAM. Sarr can play a number of attacking positions if we sign a box-to-box midfielder.

If the FA want to be sensible, they would focus on player welfare and set rules about how many minutes per season any player can play, both competitive and friendly (pre/post season). Spurs have just had the most restful season in years, with only 41 competitive fixtures by season's end. It's one thing telling Man City, who might have played 55 games in total, what to do (after all, the Melbourne game will occur before the FA Cup final and all the European finals). But if the Spurs players are 'knackered' only playing one game a week for most of the season, there's something seriously wrong...and it would concern over-training between games rather than how many games they actually played. I reckjon that Maddison, Gordon and Trippier would be available for Southgate the same time as Oli Watkins if Villa reach the Europa Conference League final. As for Harry Kane (even Eric Dier if selected) or Jude Bellingham (one or more of whom must play in the Champions League final), they will arrive later than all of them.

Along with toney , bowen & others eze is another player we sent scouts to watch for a while - that was when he was at qpr and we could have paid the same sum palace got him for in the end ! palace will quote a well over the top price and if we pay big money for him that will shackle us buying other players we desperately need ! Eze and toney would cost the club somewhere in the region of £100 mill if early rumours are correct.
We.should buy both Eze and Olise. Kane may be tempted to come back.

Regards to the FA's opinion, I actually agree with them. It should have never been played so closely to the ending of the season and with upcoming internationals. It plasses unesesery burdon/strain on our players' fitness!
Three years left on contract. Gotta think it would be a Tanguy or higher fee. Like 60m bare minimum, probably 70-80m? But DO IT. Club-record signing, haven’t done that since 2019. Shows ambition and he is a class player strengthening our SQUAD and getting plenty of starts (maybe playing WITH Madderz)
Why sign Eze when he is so similar to Madders? Hamstring issue is a big worry. Can't see us putting both Madders and Eze in the same lineup. Eze doesn't solve the defensive problem. Gibbs-White has more complete game as a midfielder. Spurs have the skill players but we are too soft. We need a box-to-box midfielder who is bigger and more physical like Gallagher.
Eze is decent but signing him means signing others to compliment him. It isn't smart. Sign players that take you on but also FIT!

Eza is a lot stronger than Maddison, maddy gets pushed out of his position and always comes to deep and then we don’t have a No10 in the right position, Eza does a lot of his work further forward
Re the friendly - why does no one mention that we have teams playing in multiple competitions all year. Spurs haven't been as we were knocked out or not participating. So, what's the issue - it's one more game.

Yes, on paper, Eze is a dream-signing - HG, creative, goals, exciting on the ball
- but the long-term hammy injuries are a concern.....
- as Big Dave said - he's so crucial to the Palace team, they've rushed him back without giving his body enough time to recover.
On balance, yes, I'd take him @ the right price, but does the Don Paritici have his eyes on an exciting La Liga or Serie A prospect, or should we jump in & buy in the summer FFP firesale @ Chelsea, City & Utd - COYS

Sean agreeing with Simon Jordan there a surprise. Sean Crystal Palace are in the most successful period in their history just after Jordan had to sell the club to save it hitting the wall. And Sean if you can't see that all good and positive atmosphere that Ange built up around the fans and players started to go when Levy did a way with concessions for the loyal over 65 supporters as per usual Levy tried saving the pennies and it could well cost him the 60 to 70 million from the CL that what happens when the £ is all you care about
