They actually had a few other fire ballads too like Hysteria, Bringing on the Heartbreak and Have You Ever Needed Someone So Bad. Adrenalize is around the time I started dating my wife so that album really reminds me of being in love however I recall playing Hysteria all night at the beach on a ghettoblaster with some girls I fancied as a teen. Amazing memories :)

There’s a hilarious song by a band called Bloodhound Gang called Why’s Everybody Always Pickin’ On Me that has a mad break where they repeat “the drummer from Def Leppard’s only got one arm” over and over. But the kicker is that it’s actually true 💪

You need to check out Def Leppard's songs Pour Some Sugar On Me , Hysteria , Animal , Two Steps Behind & I've said this once & I'll say it again . Def Leppard is the greatest band ever not just because they make great songs but because of the character they showed Rick Allen after he lost his left arm in a car wreck . Not every band would have taken a 3 year hiatus to let him relearn how to play the drums again or to make him come to the rest of the band & say he can't do it anymore . But thankfully Rick Allen was able to get through it & they haven't looked back & they keep making great songs .

I so wish def had released hysteria as a 10 instead of 12 song album in 87. Removed sugar, excitable and dont shoot shotgun and out ring of fire on the album instead of those three dreadful songs. Hysteria would be way better and the vinyl I bought the very day the album was released was more than an hour long. Far too long for 1Lp. It finally became a double album in 2017 when I bought the red vinyl 30 year celebration release. Still, I never EVER play sugar. I HATE IT. You can love it. I never said you could not. You like it. Fine. Many do. Love bites I love. Rocket, women, animal is amazing!! Gods of war epic! Hysteria a solid song, armageddon it boring, love and affection great!
