I don't support Arsenal, never the less, White knew what happened to him last time out, and with him in good form for his club and enjoying his football under Arteta who manages well than Southgate does, it's plain and clear to see that he doesn't want to waste his time on the England bench. Southgate and his coaching team did not treat him with any respect that White would always give them. The blame deserves to be on Southgate because of his ego, picking underperforming favourites such as Maguire, Henderson, and Philips who do 0% for their clubs and shouldn't be playing for England.

The crunch point in all leagues and cups to take everyones best players and play literally pointless games that have no tangible value to risk all the top players in the run in. This goes for all clubs. These pointless matches could literally change the course of the whole season. Its absolutely mental and i think Ben probably just agrees. The Internet says Steve Holland screamed at Ben White in a team meeting and Ben White wasn't going to let anyone talk to him like that so he walked.
In my experience the Internet always wins so i go with the Holland Theory...
We can only speculate as to what has happened without the full facts of what has gone on behind the scenes.
White has shown in the past how happy he has been to get a call up and that he does want to represent his country. The trouble is Southgate.
For anyone that is defending Southgate or having a go at White, just look at how Southgate has managed the team. There have been plenty of players that have not only deserved a call up but also to start.
Last season, Ramsdale was really good for Arsenal. He didn't even get a sniff at starting a game apart from once, in a friendly, because Pickford is his favourite.
Harry Maguire was still being chosen to not only be a part of the team but also start, even when he was playing really bad or not at all at club level. Tomori had won a Serie A around the time when Maguire wasn't doing good, and he didn't get a chance.
Phillips and Henderson are both getting picked when they haven't played or haven't been playing particularly well, yet JWP gets overlooked.
There are so many good players that haven't been given the chance to showcase what they can do, all because Southgate chooses his favourite players. Even when they are not playing for their club! Its a joke, and its not motivating for players, knowing full well that they won't even get a chance to play. Even if they have been playing well for a while and are in great form. They won't get picked on merit, only if Southgates favouite(s) get injured.
Why does the player has to be the one to come out ssying it? Why hasnt the manager come out to say what the problem with? Pushing it on the player is bias as it gets. The manager has to take responsibilities

There’s always a reason why someone doesn’t want to play for England, remember Ben white left training camp over disagreement with the members of Southgates team, I think the situation is a bit more deeper than we think.
Ben White knows that Southgate doesn't like him and that he has no chance of going to the Euros, so why should he risk getting injured in a couple of meaningless friendlies when he is fighting for the title with Arsenal? I agree with him 100%

I very very rarely seek to make a racial comment on CZcams because it will always be twisted and assumed the worst. But there's this great sadness in the pit of my stomach that if he were a black Englishman with his skillset and calibre, his "Englishness" would be questioned; his loyalty to his country would be judged; how disrespectful it is to the King and to country etc. The usual nationalism parroting. Credit to Ben White for standing on what he believes is right. That's all this is. A disagreement between him and management. Something we all can salute for an employee standing up for himself.
