Let’s go for a walk in Puerto Princesa’s town proper. Puerto Princesa is the provincial capital of Palawan and is nicknamed ‘The City in a Forest’ because it’s rich with breathtaking natural resources such as the famous Underground River.
We’ll start our walk from the Immaculate Conception Cathedral (commonly known as the Puerto Princesa Cathedral) going to the baywalk park and from baywalk park, we’ll be resuming our walk until we reach Puerto Princesa’s marketplace and SM mall. And by the way, Puerto Princesa is the only place in Palawan with an SM shopping mall and it also has several other famous establishments which you won’t find in El Nido or Coron.

Yes It is actually part of Luzon. And we noticed most locals speaks Tagalog similar to Batangeño accent since the island is very close to Batangas
@@phdotnet888 Batangas neighboring island province is not Palawan but Mindoro Province.
There has been proposal to move Palawan to Visayas (Western Visayas) it happen in 2004 but was move again to Mimaropa region.
Btw, the South of Palawan is mostly Tausug people originating in Sulu since it's approximately distance in Sulu archipelago and Zamboanga.
Sorry. I thought it was Puerto Galera. Puerto Princesa language is mix. Mostly Cuyonon and Tagalog but lots are also using Visayan dialects Hiligaynon and Bisaya
