I loved your non-reality/science fiction books Shikasta Re Colonised Planet 5, The Marriages between Zones Three, Four, and Five (Canopus in Argos--Archives), The Sirian Experiments (Canopus in Argos), Briefing for a Descent Into Hell, they seemed pretty real to me.
Amongst the great writers. Read Shikasta first because it was in the sci-fit section and had a plain grey cover, Marriages my favourite of the series. The Good Terrorist though I think her best work. I was very active leftie not long before and she hit every nail and I saw something of myself and others in the characters. Her characters always feel real regardless of whether it’s space fiction or a middle class family with a dodgy child or a squat of wannabe revolutionaries.
