Even kat Malaysia pun, jangan ingat bila kita pergi restaurants yang ada "Pork Free", "Halal ingredients" macamni, jangan ingat makanan tu sendiri halal. 😮💨
Jangan lupa jua, kek & produk pastri pun kena hati²...ada resipi yg guna alkohol, gelatin khinzir, lemak khinzir(lard) atau bahan² yg tak halal lain...& pembuatan ais krim itu sendiri pun kena tau apa bahan²nya, bukan sekadar topping shj.. Kedai makan yg menjual makanan² laut, tak semestinya halal, bahan² sampingan yg digunakan seperti minyak/mentega mungkin ada yg tak halal....
Cheese pun ada yg tak halal..sbb pernah tgok dia org lapiskan dgn lard..
Ice cream juga dan gula-gula juga yang tidak halal punya gelatin 🐷
Benar tue... perkara macam ini yg saya cakap dengan kawan² yg main bedal jerr beli kek, roti ke makanan pastri lain di kedai orang bukan islam tetapi dicemuh balik 😅 katanya tak apa sebab makanan pastri nie semuanya halal atau mereka lupa yg ramuan gelatin itu selalu dari sumber yg bukan halal ? Lagi satu walaupun yg mengendalikan makanan itu terang² bukan orang islam serta tak ada langsung sijil halal walaupun dah berdekad buka kedai kek, saya tepuk dahi terus tengok semborono jerr berduyun-duyun orang islam kita main beli tanpa ada usul periksa 😅 akhir zaman... kedai yg sah² halal ada sijil dan tanda tak mahu pergi pulak 😆

Alhamdulillah Jai benar2 mengajar Sam ttg makanan halal...sbb ada juga org Melayu sendiri yg pergi luar negeri makan apa shj snek yg ada tanpa sedar ada bhn2 dr babi spt enzim, lard, gelatin etc dlm makanan spt ais cream, cake, chocolate, cheese dll.
Bukan saja suka makan snack ada unsur2 babi tapi amalkan budaya halowen, good Friday dan letak pokok2 krismas dlm rumah kononnya itu hanya budaya masyarakat setempat
Dekat US ada beberapa certification ataupun symbol yang bolih digunakan. Label U ataupun K adalah dari Jews certification yang mengatakan tiada daging babi ataupun ianya disembelih cara Jews. Itu yang kami guna.

Maybe jai & sam boleh start to initiate halal food restaurant to cater for muslims mostly since you guys know how to identify non halal ingredients. Always thot about this when I was in aussie and NZ since halal food specifically malaysian food is hardly found.

Linguistically, the word Iman (إيمان) is taken from the verb 'Āamana' (ءامن) which means "to believe" or 'Yukminu' (يوءمن) which means "to believe" or "to allow". It also carries the same meaning as I'tiqad (اعتقاد), but in a different sense.
While in terms of literal meaning in Islam, Iman (الإيمان) means "believe in Allah". Thus the believer is defined as a believer (mukmin). The word Iman which means "allowing" is mentioned in the Qur'an, including in Surah At-Taubah verse 61 which means:
"And among them (the hypocrites) there are those who hurt the Prophet while they say: "That he (Prophet Muhammad) is a person who likes to listen (and believes in what he hears)". Say: "He hears (and believes) what is good for you, he believes in Allah and believes in the believers, and he is a mercy for the believers among you". And those who hurt the Messenger of Allah, for them will be an indescribable torment." [Al-Quran 9:61]
In Islam, just simply believing (yukminu) is still not sufficient as a believer if one does not still do good deeds and adhere to I'tiqad. As written in Surah Al-Hujurat verse 14 which means:
"The Arabs" said: "We have believed". Say (O Muhammad): "You have not yet believed, (do not say that), but while faith has not yet penetrated into your heart just say: 'we have accepted Islam'. And (remember), if you obey Allah His Messenger (visible and heart), God will not reduce the reward of your deeds in the slightest, because indeed God is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." [Al-Quran 49:14]
The definition of Iman according to Islamic Sharia terms is as stated by Ali bin Abi Talib r.a. which means: "Faith is speech with the tongue and true belief with the heart and action with the members."
Aisha r.a. also said: "Faith in God is confessing with the mouth and justifying with the heart and working with the limbs."
Imam al-Ghazali explained the meaning of Iman as: "Confession with the tongue (oral) confirms the confession with the heart and practices it with the pillars (members)."
Faith in the true meaning is to allow with the heart, express with the mouth, and do with the limbs. In short, a believer is a person who believes, confesses and does good deeds. Without these three conditions, a person is not said to be a perfect believer. Absence of just one of the three, is another name that Islam gives to that person, which is fasik, hypocrite or kafir.

@@gopeng925 WHAT IS Da'wah? Da'wah comes from the form da'a-yad'u, which means a call, call, or invitation. This means, da'wah is any activity that calls, invites, and calls people to believe and obey Allah in accordance with Islamic creed, shari'a, and morals.
Is it true that da'wah is the duty of Muslims? The scholars have different opinions in determining the law of conveying da'wah. that. Some scholars define da'wah as fardlu kifayah (collective obligation). Some other scholars set it as fardlu a'in.
They both refer to the letter Ali Imran verse 104. As Allah says: "And let there be among you a group of people who call to righteousness, enjoin what is right and forbid what is evil, they are the lucky ones." (Surat Ali Imran [3]: 104).
The word minkum in the verse is considered to contain the meaning of tab'id (part), so that the law of da'wah becomes fardlu kifayah. However, some other scholars actually consider it a zaaidah (additional), so the law becomes fardlu 'ain. Outwardly, these two meanings contradict each other, but in essence they complement each other, where the meaning of al-bayan does not deny the specialization of some Muslims to preach.
The Prophet Muhammad once said: "Convey from me even if it is only one verse..." (H.R. Tirmidhi).
This hadith is the basis of the obligation of every Muslim, male or female, to preach. There is no reason not to fulfill the duty of da'wah. This can be seen from the command to convey (da'wah) even though it is one verse. Da'wah is not an obligation ordered by scholars, kiai, or by anyone else. However, it is an order from Allah and His messenger, Muhammad, directly to every individual Muslim.
In another Surah Allah also says: "And tell (humans) to do good and prevent (them) from evil deeds and be patient with what befalls you. Verily, that is one of the things that are obligatory (by Allah).” (Q.S. Luqman [31]: 17).
Da'wah which aims to form Muslim individuals who are strong in faith, have noble character with the Shari'a of Allah SWT. It is expected that individual human beings become fully Muslim, from the head of the hair to the soles of the feet, as ordered by Allah,
“O you who believe, enter Islam as a whole, and do not follow the steps of the devil. Satan is a real enemy for you." (Surah al-Baqarah: 208).
When in terms of material too, the purpose of da'wah may be distributed to:
The purpose of aqidah is to instill a solid creed in everyone's heart, so that aqidah about Islamic teachings is no longer mixed with doubt. The realization of the purpose of this da'wah is for people who do not believe to become believers, for people whose faith because of the evidence alone is very fragile and is still filled with doubts. So they must become people who believe wholeheartedly.
The purpose of the law, namely the obedience of everyone to the law that has been set by Allah SWT. The realization of the purpose of this da'wah is for people who have not worshiped to become people who want to worship with full awareness, for people who have not obeyed Islamic law become people who want to obey the Shari'a sincerely.
The purpose of morality is the formation of a noble Muslim personality, decorated with commendable qualities and clean of despicable traits.

Isu geletin ni dah lama diperbahaskan oleh ulama dunia...ada perbezaan pandangan, terutamanya utk org Islam yg tinggal di negara non-Muslim. Cuba baca fatwa Dr.Yusof Al-Qardhawi, mungkin akan memberi kita lebih pencerahan tentang isu ini.
Saya pernah beli jenama kacang yg sama dekat Jaya Grocer..tak sekelumit pun dlm fikiran ada gelatin dlm tu..kacang kotttt bukan apa pun..sekali sampai rumah baru perasan ada pelekat kat botol tulis 'may contain gelatin'..sudahnya ke tong sampah la..nak bg non-muslim, opis saya semua muslim..neighbours pun semua muslim..mmg sedikit ralat coz kacang tu mahal..huhu..tapi saya lebih bersyukur coz sempat sedar sblum termakan..huhu
