Kataldhar Waterfall is situated in Rajmachi region of Lonavala. It falls from an overhang rock hence also known as Horseshoe Falls.

I see so many waterfalls in Maharashtra and the landscscape during monsoon is greenery stunning. Maharashtra & Hawaii are the only places I know have alot of waterfalls. Beautiful view & soulful music well done Gautam u are so brave traveling alone!!

it doesnt take much time if you dont relax and chill at every point, it is always rainy there, i think in sep it should recede cant say, weathers are unpredictable :)

technically kalavantin since steps are more smooth and exposed and no slots on it while gorakhgad steps are coarse and has slots to hold as well as it is carved in such a way that the side wall acts as a small barrier. if not taken care both are dangerous :)
