So glad God isn't like man! Many people judge, and are very negative, but I commend El cause it's been a long and painful road for him. I'm sure he's suffered many consequences for his actions, and choices he made. Some weaker people might have given up or been taken under, but by God's grace he is once again sharing his special gift with the world. Thank God for 2nd and 3rd, 4th...chances for not only El, but all of us!
To clear it up: He was dancing and singing "The Rhythm of the Night" when he said, " My daddy white, but my mamma black" . It simply meant that he has rhythm. It was not meant to be offensive, it was a compliment to his mom for giving him rhythm. Regardless of what anybody thinks, it's his mamma and his daddy. Hence he can say whatever he wants to about them. Again it was meant to be a funny compliment. You guys need to learn how to take a joke, laugh and move on. He brings so much joy!

I come across something on social media recently. He had gotten in a bit of trouble in 2018. He was arrested due to a domestic issue, he had gotten in a fight with couple his brothers and El made a statement it was due to jealousy and that he made a mistake by letting them get to him like that..he was getting some kind of counseling, however that was last year. He’s been touring and he performed at the 2019 Essence Festival. I’ve been keeping a lookout for his 2020 tour schedule hoping he will be coming to DC area. I definitely want to see him live in concert. He’s a beautiful man and so very talented, he is of my era, the Debarges and his brother Bobby in the group Switch. Legends..rip Bobby.

I always love seeing performers look as though they are having a ball while performing! :) Also, love and think it's funny how El keeps pointing to several people in the audience, calling them "baby"! I love it!! lol
