It was a huge mistake for China to prop up property prices.

China is winning even when they’re failing. Americans would love to have to many houses.

Something nobody talks about: home ownership.
    China 90%
    US 65%
Most people own where they live. And that's a county of more than 1 billion people.

@ricnyc2759 and what's the overall value of that "90" from how much they invested to now and how many of those "homes" are empty or unfinished?

Yep. It's a cultural phenomenon. In China, a man is only considered a viable marriage partner when he owns a property.

It's because they can't send their kids to school in an area without buying a house in most urban areas.

If this was their 2008 GFC moment that your guest says it is, why are the markets at year highs and pumping higher? And DO NOT say its because their economy is more "stable" 😂😂

China is not a free market economy and will not have a financial crisis, even if the problem is worse than the US in 2008

Chinese property sector, which accounts for 30% of GDP, is crashing.
    - Exports and imports, accounting for 37% GDP, are down.
    - Foreign investment (FDI) is falling over 90%, lowest in 3 decades.
    - Foreign visitors are down 96% compared to the pre-pandemic level in 2019.
    - Consumer prices are experiencing deflation.
    - Youth unemployment hits over 21%, a record.
    - Its fast-shrinking workforce is 10 years older than neighboring countries.
*Still, China keeps reporting outrageous GDP numbers.* Lol
Where does the growth come from?

      Your calculations are weird...
Now calculate the investment of China in global markets...
Also, factor in the huge amount of investment US and other countries have made in China...
China has the technology which few have...
I am absolutely sure, China has collaborated with Europe for the next round of Growth...
You will see the Dragon dancing again in few years...

Even India would have done this but Prime Minister is busy countering opposition 🤦
Prime Minister should try to be like Xi Jinping.
Modi ji should acquire land too...
Just see what Russia is doing...
At some point in time, God will have to acquire the land to feed huge population in India...
