They are out of control here in Australia.
I seem to be a target as i give them hell when they call me.
same, as soon as I hear that gibberish accent I troll them for at least 45 minutes
I get a troll scam text every two days. I just block and delete the number
I'm also in Australia, and once I retired, I used to get enough cold calls from Indian scammers that I built a dedicated VM to mess them around properly and waste their time. Then it got to the stage where, if I answered the call (pressed "1" to talk to a technician, whatever), my call would get put through, I could hear background office sounds for a couple of seconds, and then they would hang up without saying a word. I suspect that they have to wait for a moment to see whatever is known about you come up on their screen, and once they see that you have prior form with them as a scambaiter, they hang up.

If you can scam the scammers, annoy the scammers, destroy scammers PCs, destroy scammers servers, do overall damage to scammers then you're doing worthwhile work!

unless the files are overwritten, they can very easy be restored. to remove stuff from a hard drive, you have to over write the information. deleting stuff, just tell the harddrive that it can overwrite it.

I love how these sad people will say stuff like "thank you for wasting my time" and "I have other customers to talk to" when clearly you're trying to waste their time, and clearly know by "customers" they mean victims. They're so deep in denial it's astounding.

Dummy Head Scammers !!! 🤕 Great video again !! Love how you keep us informed as to what is happening. Changing a scammers web site is brilliant and hysterical. They consider themselves conmen, yet end up being conned into thinking you are a victim. If they cannot tell, then that must put a dent in their armour causing paranoia. Is the next person a real victim ? They just wont know for sure, making them edgy and being ... not too bright ... only makes things worse. 😂

if they call me I say can you hold on someone is at my door - and put my phone down for at least 1/2 hour - some are still waiting and then i say someone called my other phone line and to hold on and do the same thing LOL
You should then play a recording of you "at the door" in a long-winded discussion with your Wills and Estates lawyer on some made-up million dollar bequests. With occasional asides you have to get back to your phone for an important call.
Just to let the scammer know that he is not forgotten. And that he's potentially caught a big fish.
