Security is a critical part of any IT design but with a constantly changing threat environment, it can be hard to keep up with what are the best practices you have to implement to keep an environment safe. As system complexity, connectedness, and the variety of users increase, attackers have more opportunities to identify unprotected edge cases and thus it gets even harder.
