The video is the first in a series of interviews carried out on the backdrop of the 2023 Annual Actuarial Society of Zimbabwe where we got hold of Douglas Hoto, the current Group Chief Executive Officer of First Mutual Holdings Limited and one of the pioneers of the actuarial profession in Zimbabwe.

It is essential for the profession to be relevant to contemporary problems, particularly regarding the social equilibrium dynamics in Zimbabwe centering around product design, product relevance, and responding to the call by the unassuming public looking for solutions."
