In 2013/14 Ronaldo and Suarez both had 31 league goals so both won golden boot. Suarez played in EPL so it’s better.
Ronaldo scored 17 goals in UCL and Suarez didn’t play in European competition. So Ronaldo was a better goal scorer because of UCL.
2015/16 Suarez scored 40 in La Liga, Ronaldo scored 35.
UCL Ronaldo scored 16 goals, Suarez scored 8 goals.
So still, Ronaldo was a better goal scorer.
DEFINITELY my favourite modern day striker. He NEVER panicked around the box. Was never afraid to take the extra touch. Never was shy to win a 50/50 ball. TOTALLY trusted his shot. Had great situational awareness. Was deceptively quick. These are only a few of my observations of his career so far. On to Athletico to conquer. #9.
And would guess defenders moves. Raw talent and instinct. But his greatest virtue is his competitive spirit. He hates to lose and will not quit until it is over. Never.

The pace, the skills and the finishing: He had it all. He may have lost some of that recently but I will always remember him for being an extremely talented footballer. It was a joy to watch him and his connection with Messi was out of this world. Definitely one of the greatest strikers ever.

Suarez has never got the credit, respect and limelight that he has always richly deserved. When you think of out and out pure centre forwards, he is the absolute best of his generation. Suarez, 200 goals in 5 years and 10 month (43 effective months). Messi, 630 in 16 years (130 effective months). It means that Messi played triple more years than Suarez played. Then 200 x 3 = 600 goals would have got Suarez.

He is definitely one of the best strikers of all time but he has been declining for a few seasons. And a club can't have a main st who is not at his peak. So the club should give him a proper farewell and sell him with dignity.
@@soif_ti Frankly I find you hard on him. Today suarez is still a striker capable of scoring 30 goals per season. He still has a sense of goal that very few forwards have in Europe. And then Benzema is also in his thirties, yet he is in the shape of his life. Limit Koeman should have asked him to rebuild an athletic physique and to work a lot while keeping him on the bench.
@@FM-jj4jd okay, i love suarez and have huge respect for evrythings hes given. But its time for him to go. Hes lost his speed, mobility, dribbling.....his decline has been pretty shocking to be honest. Yes he still scores a lot of goals but he misses SO many chances every game, and the quick counters or plays breaks down instantly when the ball gets to him. Furthermore he can't create for himself like he used to, and relies on messi to provide him with chances.
In all honesty barca play a lot more terrible when suarez is on the pitch these days, so its time to leave now as a legend, rather than be seen as a villain sucking the club dry.
