I was thinking that (about the heater) and I don't know anything about feng shui, but the back to the door isn't something I would do. (I want to know if someone's coming and my ears suck so I'd prefer being able to see the door from the desk.)
I think she was going for the desk facing the window so there is a nice uplifting view on long work sessions. We have to keep in mind that there’s a likelihood all she has for electronics is going to be like a laptop.
If that radiator is functional and you plan on placing electronics on that desk, then it's a suped BAD idea to keep that desk there. Also irrespective of this too its a poor choice you keep radiator area open or else heat is not going to radiate to entire room since there is an air pocket at the desk because desk is blocking free flow of air.
Folks talking about the desk by the radiator, can we talk about the space for the chair tho? If the wheels only just fit in the gap, there’s no space for movement once sat down.
You can’t put a table/desk toght by the radiator if it’s working. The heat will ruin it, ruin everything on it and whoever sits there will not stand the heat.
Does the radiator work? If yes, you cannot put the desk there. I don't like the desk there anyway. It's a huge room. Set the desk up so it FACES the door. Plus pull it away from the wall so the person's chair is in the other side. Put the conference table in another part of the room not in the middle. It's too close to desk
So many people do that now and it's really annoying and a little rude tbh. I'm not saying answer everything but I've asked a question or seen someone else ask one not long after posting and the content creator will heart everything but the question and put a comment under someone else's "omg I love you" comment 🙄
Everything doesn't have to be simetrical. Turn the table/desk diagonally, and a chair with back to corner. Eliminate the cheap looking desk from in front of the heater, and surround the room with storage/book cases. Chairs can be scattered around the room for guests/customers, and pulled into the table for those big meal times, if any. Don't get locked into sameness. Carpet and table are awesome.
That type of heater isn’t going to catch it on fire but it will damage any electronics on the desk. Or trap too much heat under it and make it uncomfortable to work.
People complain the desk in the fromt of the heater, probably she is using the desk during the spring, summer and even fall .So most likely they will use A/C or open windows.
I think she is going to move that desk. Otherwise that is bad marketing for her. I WOULDN'T HIRE HER, with that common sense move. PLUS, I think a rug under a dinning table is so GROSS.
Traditionally from cultures in which rugs hold an important place and a whole lot of traditions around it , a rug under a dining table is not only not gross but normal and a good idea. You are supposed to clean floors and rugs so there’s nothing gross here.
I agree with the first portion of your comment, but you lost me with the rug under the dining table being "gross". A lot of houses have carpet so I'm not understanding why it'd be "gross" if it's being vacuumed and occasionally shampooed. I would think a rug would be no different? but yeah, I wouldn't hire her and I REALLY hope that desk got moved. Would be nice if the creator would respond to some of the comments but it doesn't seem that she is very interactive with comments.
A lot of people are talking about the radiator. All I could think about was the floor under the chair. It needs a mat or rug or both (rug with transparent mat on top so wheels roll easily and rug pattern shows through) to protect the wood floors underneath. My office had wood floors that were gorgeous - and ruined in a few months bc of the chair wheels rolling back and forth.
I love the desk!!!! Was about to do similiar, but naw, going to stick with hospital table for if one day I get a regular bed and no longer use air mattress. I can also use when I want a higher off ground table using a chair. I still love the idea, would have never thought!
I think you thought about functionality and aesthetics, as well! As an artist, you would be at the window, very warm and cozy, looking out, being inspired! I think some baskets on the floor to collect stuff & keep it out of site and then add flora and fauna!
To remedy the heat issue, just pull the table back two feet and float it. Flank the desk with a doggy bed on one side and a chair facing the opposite direction, for a visitor, or to have a place to drape belongings upon. ❤
I would push the desk out a little facing away from the window with my back to the heater so I can still spin my chair around and look out the window. I love sitting by a heater ❤ and yes I’ve read feng shui it’s more powerful to see the room.
Yeah, sure, put it right it front where the heat is, while you're at it, plug your computer and put it there. Also, dont forget to light candles and put it around. 👏🙌👍
It’s good that you put the desk by a window But if the client can’t see who is coming through the door while she’s at her desk , she’s gonna be mad uncomfortable Try putting the desk at an angle in the corner of the room, in a way that will let her still get natural light by a slight turn of her head
Wow, everybody’s focused on the negative here. All right one comment is understandable but why bring it up and we just focus on this girl is Ashley out of bed got dressed. . And it’s doing something with her life, not to mention filming and editing and working her ass off can we just appreciate that effort alone alone. What have you done with your day other than just sit there and look at videos after videos and not do anything with your space
Is anyone else noticing how much of an amazing large space this is, especially for an office?!?! This space and natural lighting is beautiful❣️. However, I wouldn't like my desk in from of the heater or having my back to any door. That would make me feel really uncomfortable and unsafe!
Never mind that the desk is right in front of the heater. The FaceBook Marketplace table and its chairs don't look like they are from Ikea. If you say you're going to do all Ikea, be consistent and do all Ikea.
Viva a Familia!! Familia é sagrada é a base. Os alicerces de uma sociedade sadia !
Right in front of the heater, that’s a bad idea.
Yep especially if you have a computer….. and also the feng shui feels off with the desk there….
You shouldn’t have your desk turned away from the door
I thought the same
I agree with you all. I wanna see who's walking in .
This is not a functional design. That heat gonna melt somebody face
Actually what I said lol
Verdad
If that radiator is functional and you plan on placing electronics on that desk, then it's a suped BAD idea to keep that desk there. Also irrespective of this too its a poor choice you keep radiator area open or else heat is not going to radiate to entire room since there is an air pocket at the desk because desk is blocking free flow of air.
Even as a make Up Table would be a Bad Idea because the make Up would "Cook" away and bacteria would thrive
I see an hvac on the top right corner though
It would be a cozy desk tho
Thinking the same ..worst place for it. And such a small desk too.
Hvac and radiator at same time? Do you want pay my bills too?
desk is too tiny for that huge space !!
Folks talking about the desk by the radiator, can we talk about the space for the chair tho? If the wheels only just fit in the gap, there’s no space for movement once sat down.
My thoughts exactly !
Not a real desk, just garbage. IKEA makes bigger tops than that she there’s no excuse just because she bought everything a big box store
Redesigning "everything is ikea"😂
My Feng Shui senses are tingling after watching dear modern so much
Thank you I felt the same, was wondering if I was alone
I was going to say the same thing! 😂
Ikr, I was just about to comment that lol
Same here! The flow of the room... in Clif's voice. Your back to the room... watching people, watch you work 🥸
I love the rug and then it went down hill from there.
Do you know if the rug is also from Ikea?
z zadnego " wzgórza nie spadł dywanik"🤦 płytkie umyśle sugestyjne
I know people like rugs, but they are a tripping hazard.
Right in front of the heater….. like why?
You can’t put a table/desk toght by the radiator if it’s working. The heat will ruin it, ruin everything on it and whoever sits there will not stand the heat.
And the table was too close to the “desk”
EXACTLY 💯
How can you put a desk in front of a radiator?
😂
Amateurs?? 🤔
How long did you go to college for design? And is it worth it

Yesss!!! I agree with both suggestions!! 👍🏽😊👍🏽

All that space and that’s it fu*kin hell that could use so much more
Get a radiator casing and find a new place for the desk. Air flow important for that radiator.
I love how people have been asking questions and she says nothing. Unsubscribed.
Right, I hate that.
So many people do that now and it's really annoying and a little rude tbh. I'm not saying answer everything but I've asked a question or seen someone else ask one not long after posting and the content creator will heart everything but the question and put a comment under someone else's "omg I love you" comment 🙄
Radiator that close to desk is not safe😮
Everything doesn't have to be simetrical. Turn the table/desk diagonally, and a chair with back to corner. Eliminate the cheap looking desk from in front of the heater, and surround the room with storage/book cases. Chairs can be scattered around the room for guests/customers, and pulled into the table for those big meal times, if any. Don't get locked into sameness. Carpet and table are awesome.
is that safe right in front of the furnace? lol
of course...NOT.
I love the baskets that fit inside the IKEA bookshelf!! Where did you find that great rug!!!
Please do not block heater,/radiator it will catch on FIRE!!!!! Wood and heat does not mix.
That type of heater isn’t going to catch it on fire but it will damage any electronics on the desk. Or trap too much heat under it and make it uncomfortable to work.
Desk front of the heather? Which kind of designer are you? 😂
Whilst the designs seem interesting, it is very hard to watch these shorts because of the super fast talking! Maybe I'm getting old?
I've said same. Why is everyone talking a mile a minute? I'm 50.
Slow down. I want to actually hear what information is being given.
She’s not talking fast at all 😭😭 totally and completely understandable at the pace she’s speaking
I'm from Germany and can understand her very well. So sadly - it is a "you problem", not a "her problem".
The rug looks really cute tho! (Despite all of the other complaints 😅)
Fantastic!
I love that the space is large.
Seems functional and efficient
People complain the desk in the fromt of the heater, probably she is using the desk during the spring, summer and even fall .So most likely they will use A/C or open windows.
Do not move a piece of furniture by just grabbing the top with the drawers in. Remove drawers if full of stuff.
You blocked off your heat
I love that table!
Where is that rug from?
Woah ! What about those collapsible basket cubes ?! 😮😮😮❤❤❤ where do I get those ?!?!?! ❤
IKEA!
LOL I have those shelves but I didn't know that they had chores for them LOL
Great design!
Where can I get that rug! Love the diamond pattern!❤
They have them on Rugs USA. That’s where I got mine. Hope that helps.
They sell on Etsy.
IKEA It's really incredible, the products are much cheaper, here where I live (Brazil)It's much more expensive than IKEA
Bring in some plants. This room needs them.
I do not recommend you putting that desk near the heater. It can get very hot. It should never be covered because it suppose to heat up the room.
Please speak more slowly.....you are gambling so ridiculously fast.....pause and breathe please
Love that table ❤
I think she is going to move that desk. Otherwise that is bad marketing for her. I WOULDN'T HIRE HER, with that common sense move. PLUS, I think a rug under a dinning table is so GROSS.

I need that rug! I need a link to that rug.
I absolutely love content creators that have zero interaction with their subscribers 🙄 🗑️
The lil overalls are ADORABLE 🥰🌸💕
Pro-Tip: Use glue at the seams of any particle board furnishings. It will hold up longer without getting wobbly.

I still love the idea, would have never thought!
Those Alex drawers are so expensive 😫 but i still want them
Las sillas son una belleza, me gustan.
WHO’S Carly???
I love everything you did thank you for showing. I love IKEA.❤
I think you thought about functionality and aesthetics, as well! As an artist, you would be at the window, very warm and cozy, looking out, being inspired! I think some baskets on the floor to collect stuff & keep it out of site and then add flora and fauna!
Good job 👍 ❤
Loving this girly!❤ Subbed immediately
Yep. Move the desk. That area should be for the cat and your rescue pup. 💗
Maybe a small low bench in front of the radiator for when someone wants to warm up?
To remedy the heat issue, just pull the table back two feet and float it. Flank the desk with a doggy bed on one side and a chair facing the opposite direction, for a visitor, or to have a place to drape belongings upon. ❤
Loved the chairs. May I know where did you buy it from?
I would push the desk out a little facing away from the window with my back to the heater so I can still spin my chair around and look out the window. I love sitting by a heater ❤ and yes I’ve read feng shui it’s more powerful to see the room.
The table!!!
🤩🥰💕💕
Yeah, sure, put it right it front where the heat is, while you're at it, plug your computer and put it there. Also, dont forget to light candles and put it around. 👏🙌👍
Huh? Why is she talking about a client if she uses ikea products?
Luv luv I live for this good content
Love this
It looks so cute so far!! 😍😍😍😍
🌺 🌸 I must know where you got your floral overall shorts! They’re too cute!! 🌸 🌺
Easy when it’s beautiful to begin with
Buy a scraper, really it helps. No more rubbing til your fingers hurt, it's such a time saver ! Super satisfying clean out 😊
It’s good that you put the desk by a window
But if the client can’t see who is coming through the door while she’s at her desk , she’s gonna be mad uncomfortable
Try putting the desk at an angle in the corner of the room, in a way that will let her still get natural light by a slight turn of her head
Hi ! Your blue chair is awesome ! Where does it come
From ????❤
PLEASE LINK THE DESK PLEASE 🙏
Wow, everybody’s focused on the negative here. All right one comment is understandable but why bring it up and we just focus on this girl is Ashley out of bed got dressed. .
And it’s doing something with her life, not to mention filming and editing and working her ass off can we just appreciate that effort alone alone.
What have you done with your day other than just sit there and look at videos after videos and not do anything with your space
What kind of desk is that? I love that.
The dramatic intro made me instantly sub❤
Is anyone else noticing how much of an amazing large space this is, especially for an office?!?! This space and natural lighting is beautiful❣️. However, I wouldn't like my desk in from of the heater or having my back to any door. That would make me feel really uncomfortable and unsafe!
after seeing this i feel like i can call myself an interior designer and start charging people for assembling ikea lol
Gorgeous office
Beautiful 😊
Never mind that the desk is right in front of the heater. The FaceBook Marketplace table and its chairs don't look like they are from Ikea. If you say you're going to do all Ikea, be consistent and do all Ikea.
Viva a Familia!! Familia é sagrada é a base. Os alicerces de uma sociedade sadia !
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL 😍
Please need info about that basket that fit in that ikea bookshelf plesse
They’re from ikea too!
Why no link to the full? This is just basic channel management at this stage,
Love the table... yep wrong place for desk .but everything else nIce peices.
Outrageous carpet,bad surprise
I’m not finding the remainder of the video for the office can you help? I want to see how it all turned out. LOVE the rug!
Ngl it’s a kinda ugly design like how y’all put everything
Ficou lindo😃😍
Love that table.
Que disfrute, le relaja.
That is cute and all, but if those r working rads I wouldn't put the drawers that close to them!
