another great job. Easy t understand and very very helpful, thank you
Thank you ! What about using a LUT to automatically colorgrade the Log format?
Thanks man,another knowledge added.
You are so good. I subscribed. Keep the good job. I am buying my 360 soon
hi, did you ever try upscaling your insta 360 videos ( for VR) in video ai? ( as they told me 360 videos were not supported..)
Is it also possible to color grade oder edit the footage from the ace Pro?
best review editing tutorial❤🙏
I'm using Shotcut and VSDC video editors, which are free and give quite a lot of options to amend my X3 videos.
I don't see a bitrate setting on the 1-inch edition of the 360 camera.....am I missing something?
Good tips, but bad quality in 360 videos is because 5.7K resolution is not as people thinks.
360 video contains all directions (front, rear, left, right, top, bottom), so when you reframe if you are looking only a little portion, less than 1/4.
that should at least be 8K, but when you buy you just see that it is 5.7K and you think you’re shooting that resolution, instead you are shooting 2.7K on a lens i think
True but no 8K VR camera under $1000 in a portable form factor exists yet. (The QooCam 8K is garbage so it does not count) Quality is more then resolution. The insta360 RS 1" is only slightly higher resolution 6144*3072 but looks way better then the insta360 x3 especially locked down. (For a lot of Movement the x3 might still be better)
PS: For the 1" version I find standard color is better then Log (I used to use Log with the one X and still do on my EVO 180 3D but for the 1" Standard is better IMHO.)
But I do agree with you that 8k 60fps is the sweet spot. We just are not their yet for under 1K in this hand held form factor. A 1" version with 8K 60fps should be the goal.
would be interesting to see your log adjusted footage vs footage right out of camera that is in regular and not log mode.. since comparing to a unedited log mode video isn't "fair" comparison....asking because is it worth the time to edit?
Oops, sorry. I made the same comment a second ago… Quite curious to see the differences.
Mainly as some don’t recommend log as it’s only 8-bit
@@Hart-en-Ziel personally I shoot in regular mode and then use Adobe premiere pro lumetri color tab auto ai function for color .. less work haha .. also make some tweaks after ai
great video
What about recording at night? Is there some tips for getting best video quality results on postprocess step from you?
Curious how the color correcting would look if you simply clicked "auto".
Great video !
What about the new X4 , does it look better than GoPro or your phone , at least in sunshine ?
Thanks for your video! In Premier, the white curve is the overall RGB curve. Your red, green and blue curve allows you to tweak the colour a little, if you add the same tweaks to each curve the you have done it twice? Perhaps I’m wrong but if you apply the same logic in photoshop, Lightroom or Final Cut then you will have added curves data twice! The video looked a bit to contrasty and over saturated. Anyhoo, I enjoy your videos and you have some useful content, thanks for making them..
Yeah... he does not show how curves work. And you should NEVER touch the saturation/vibrance sliders from the Creative tab. The RGB curves are the best way to control the colors.
Or maybe he just wanted to show a beginner way to saturate the video.
Hi, how do we edit 72mp 360 photos? there are no other editing options like the video editing has.
The image is not clear. How can we make the image sharper? Is there a setting for this?
Thank you 🙏🏻
Store it in the soft case so it aways get cleaned as you store it in and pull it out.
can i use with my samsung gear 360? interesting video bro.
Where is your insta 360x3 new dive case video?? waiting for it
🤙🏼 *Thanks!* 🤙🏼
I think it is a must to display histogram (Lumetri scopes) and move black and white points in Curves
Recommended 100Mbps setting for export does not mention whether this is for H.264 or for H.265 encoding. In my experience, the default of H.264 really needs around 100Mbps. However, switching to H.265, the same quality is achieved already with around 30, or perhaps 40Mbps. Would be nice if video also mentioned this encoding setting and it's influence.
4K CZcams bit rate is 35 - 40 Mbs (24, 25, 30 fps) and 53 - 68 Mbs (48, 50 and 60 fps). So going to 100 Mbs is good only if you want to see the video on your TV.
If it's just for youtube, save your space and time!
Do a test and see what happens...
The reason it's all drab is you shot the video in flat mode IMO....NONE of my 360 video looks like what you just showed...lol
Would it be possible (for you) to compare the edited version with the results you’d get when using normal or vivid?
We’re now comparing with log, with is dull by nature.
@@The360Guy10:11 right side is vivid mode? Are you sure about that?
what about davinci resolve its free
Hi, I often make the lense clean before shooting, but I am curious if it will damage the lense coating ?
0:24 Never had this quality after / during edit in 360 Studio. Any payable editors not excepted mostly hobbyists...
What's the difference between those two camera's you have in your hands?
One is the 1 Inch 360 edition and one is the X3. The 1 Inch edition is a more professional expensive 360 camera
Best advice here was to clean the lenses
Mine always looks like crap like i have dirty lenses unlike all the hype on their website.
Mantap siapa yg pingin punya....
Glad i did not waste money on a 360 camera yet i think we are a few years still away from the video being good quality
No audio
U mean go pro is better than insta 360 x3
YOu are the first person on CZcams to actually mention the very poor image quality these cameras have.
Watching others mostly payed review they only showed crazy videos in perfect conditions and heavily edited.
When i got my own x3 no matter the lighting conditions and resolution or HDR the videos produced were garbage. Anything less than Ultra Wide and Mega WIde resulted in very blurry and pixelated edges , only the center was slightly clear. So only wide shots were usable.
I thought the camera had a problem so i RMAed it but they said its in perfect working condition and was nothing wrong with it.
But still every video i reframed and zoomed or dewarped was pure garbage. Even in broad daylight with low ISO and good shutter speed the results are mediocre at best if you chose to zoom in a little.
Unfortunately for me its doesnt make the cut , i dont want to edit forever to have usable results. Not to mention anything less than 5.7k is a joke.
I think 360 quailty is so bad . Goproax gas more quality
@10:10 Looks like he is peeing in the fountain.
NEVER use your shirt to clean the lens - easiest way to scratch it!
You are a great presenter! You speak clearly, concisely, and present the topics without deviation. I just subscribed snd look forward to checking out a lot more of your work. Thank you!
