Thanks for clicking on this video. This video is to give you a tour of Kinizsi dormitory in Budapest. Kinizsi dormitory is one of the hostels of Corvinus University.
Kinizsi dormitory is about 5mins walk to the school and Takareti dormitory is about 45mins by bus/tram/ metro to the school.

Ps; Kinizsi Dormitory is about 5mins walk to Corvinus university campus and Takareti Dormitory is about 45mins by bus/tram/ metro. Takareti Dormitory though it’s far from campus, the place is also quiet and has some nice things Kinizsi Dormitory does not have.
Also you don’t have to forget to come with an European adapter or plug.
About the sweeping brush, you don’t have to necessarily buy one, you can use a hover from the reception to clean your room.
The reception also provides an iron anytime you wanna iron your clothes. It is advisable to iron in bulk for the week since you wouldn’t wanna be going up and down to the reception anytime you wanna iron your clothes.

Are you able to choose dormitory as a freshmen?
@@josefinagodoya yes. An application will be sent for you to apply for the dormitory and they will send you the results via email.

No you don’t move out.
Hi Nora! Sorry if I bother you, but I would like to know how does showering work at this dorm, do all showers are open like the ones on the video? or are there any private showers? This is the only thing that would hold me back on applying to this dorm.
It’s open but once you enter the shower you close the door so nobody enters till you are done. Funny enough the showers aren’t always busy. I understand your worry but it’s not much of a big deal here.

Hi Nory, I don't know if you'll see this but I was wondering if the hostel accomodation is included in the Scholarship meaning it's free and we'll only have to worry about living expenses or if it's the monthly stipend provided by your host country that will be used to make up for the monthly accommodation requirements. I really hope you see this. Thank you!
The hostel fee will be deducted from the stipend given to you by the Hungarian government then the rest will be given to you for the period of time will be in the hostel. It’s applied each year just for the first year and then you make a new application for the next year. If you get the hostel fine! If not you rent an apartment

@@NoryAgyei I mean a friend from a different country comes to visit, the hostel won’t allow him/her stay?
@@kofikwarteng6676 no a visitor can’t stay. The maximum stay for a visitor within a day is till 11:59pm . If you have a visitor from a different country who’s staying for long, you can rent a guest house/ hotel or an apartment for temporary/short stay.
How much do people pay for renting an apartment for 3 people in Budapest near to Corvinus?
The price can vary. You can check on Facebook (Apartment rent in Budapest) for some options. Sometimes you can get a whole apartment that 3 people can split the cost and pay. So the prices can vary.
