@@dkblade27 hey yeah so great question- just 3 months ago when my 2-year lease was expiring, I looked within a ~25-block radius of the hospitals I work at (I currently live directly across the street from the middle hospital) and there wasn’t anything under $2400, all with much less amenities. Being that I’m still on primary call 5-7 times a month this year and always get called in at 1,2,3am, I thought it’s best I keep this location for the lack of better options. I pay for the amenities (laundry in-building, small fitness room, studio with windows) instead of for need of more room space cuz I prioritize saving time during residency

Like, you've got "expensive", and then you've got "fucking ridiculously expensive." If you 3x the space and then 3x the price, that'd be $8,550/month for a place my size in NYC; and my place is small, too (roughly 600sq/ft)!! Theirs is just TINY.

Juan, I watch you almost everyday and I have nothing but love for you, but as a NYC resident born and raised I have to say respectfully what you did with that cop was a big no no. If he or someone else looked at the wrong moment it could've been misinterpreted as an intention to pull the gun from his holster which could have inadvertently gotten you in trouble or worse, hurt.
I'll also add that those glocks don't have traditional safeties. I understand in other states guns are considered generally safe to be around as long as they are in the right hands but here the general understanding is that if its not a cop with a gun you better run.
