Most importantly sending all my love, hugs, and support to you and your family. There is a saying when it rains it pours, but its the rain that makes the rainbow and flowers bloom, sometimes knowing there is a light at the end of even the darkest tunnel can help. Although, if I'm being honest when I have gone through things and well meaning people who would say these things, it never helped. Don't get me wrong, I loved the place of love it came from. It's just hard for me to take these well meaning sayings to heart. When I'm hurting, I'm hurting I can't focus on tomorrow when today sucks. So I will say that I am sending EVERY prayer, well wishes, and love to you and yours. I will also say that if you need someone to walk the pitch black tunnel with you, I'm here 🙂.
I completely agree with you about Mikayla, I hope she does start disclosing correctly. Honestly, I completely stop trusting someone who DOESN'T disclose its a sponsorship. Not only is it dishonest, but it also comes across IMO as entitled. It's like they think they are so awesome that everyone wants to be like them and will buy whatever they use. If I know its an advertisement, then I will give it closer attention to see how well it works. Which is the worse part of lashgate. To deliberately give false results, that person should absolutely be held accountable. I do believe in second chances. Honestly, I kinda felt she was being wronged over that dude who was upset she wasn't posting a review of his tanner in a more timely way. Of course she should never have given a time frame, but I do understand how busy she is and how many contracts she has to fill. But the way he called her out, just IMO felt coercive. To be honest, there are a lot of influencers that I take a huge grain of salt with whatever product they swear by.
Also I wanted to tell you I found you on TikTok 😊. I was watching a few of my friends TikToks and remembered you mentioning you had one. I haven't got a chance to watch them yet LOL. But wanted to say congratulations on your success there ☺.
