@@Weblima citing khruschev to defend khruschev is like citing hitler to defend hitler. Read the book "Khruschev lied" and you will understand why the secret speech was unsustainable. Apart from this if you think that khruschev didnt do extreme repression you should read about the protests of 1956 in Georgia or the massacre of novocherkask in 1962. Apart from that you can find multiple texts of Khruschev during the Stalin times saying things like that "Stalin was the greatest man in the world" and more things like that (you can find multiple texts about this) when he later critizised the cult of the personality that there was. Apart from this he never critizised the cult of personality to Lenin and he used it in his favour. So basically Khruschev was a lier that just wanted to be in the power and the easier way was to destroy the legacy of Stalin. The worst part of this was the liberal reforms of the production followed with the first millionaries during Bhreznev and finally the total liberalization of the country with Gorbachov that just destroyed the soviet economy. So please take in consideration the history before following someone. Stalin wasnt perfect but Khruschev was worse.
Not only was Stalin a very accomplished singer, he employed the services of great Russian compsers like Borodin. No wonder it was one of the greatest National Anthems ever!
