Game Description: Half-Life ZDoom is a mod for Doom II that transforms the game into a Half-Life experience. It replaces all of the weapons, pickups, and enemies with Half-Life counterparts, and also features new maps and music. The mod is designed to be compatible with the vanilla Doom II WAD file, so it can be played without any additional modifications.

Fun fact there actually a mod for doom that actually adds hl1 weapons to doom 2
Maps are the same but weapons are hl1 and they are 3d
That would honestly be pretty sick, theres probably a good chance they could work together since it doesnt seem like this mods really adding much rather than replacing

@@ItsZYX It's intel graphics 4000 and intel i5. I had an Acer Nitro 5, a gaming laptop that could run GTA V smoothly on almost max settings. But it broke around 2 months ago, so I got the one I'm using right now as a temporary solution. To be honest though, I'm sort of grateful for that happening, as it gave me the opportunity to revisit some older titles. I finished Half-Life 2 and it's first episode, have almost finished the second, played more Garry's Mod, (okay mostly just source games) and I'm starting to learn Hammer Editor so I can make custom Half-Life 2 maps.
Nice combination of two of my favorite shooter games.
Two very good games into one man, it's pretty great!

I bet that with enough will power and a bit of Doom engine magic, a better, more authentic remake of this demake could be done. This one here kind looks incomplete.

What you typed was: someone put a link for a different mod which could be it, but even if not, theres so many crazy projects happening with doom nowadys that they could probably make half-life 2 into doom
And now, regarding what you wrote: thx, I'll look further into the other mod for Doom that recreates Half-Life in it. And most likely someone already made Half-Life 2 in Doom as well. I don't doubt it! The community for Doom is the most die-hard one I've ever seen! People make crazy stuff in it that could pass as entire games!

try lamda its basically half-life weapon pack but there ✨3D✨ also has a few Opposing Force weapons the weapons has the same behavior

@@ItsZYX i think its because it will get banned just like the doom 4 remastered mod for doom which basically makes doom have modern graphic, better gore, 3d sprites, and alot of thing then bethesda copyright it?? i don't understand how copyright works but basically bethesda banned it because from a game THAT GOT CANCELED WHICH IS DOOM 4 it will likely not to happened if someone makes a half life monster pack but maybe it will happen just maybe or there just too lazy to make a half life monster pack because i think they need to get the full half life models for it

Wasn't ps1 halflife 3d though? Afaik most ps1 games were mostly 3d this is a doom mod. Speaking of ps1 halflife it has a special coop expansion called decay it looks pretty cool

@@ItsZYX Not that many. Especially when the gameplay is this jerky. It doesn’t help retention because every time the viewer computes what they are looking at in their mind, there is another jump cut. You have to “let it rest” (industry term).
