    In most cases, we put the sun, the moon or any kind of light-pollution behind the subject. This allows us to capture great colors in the background, while minimizing the effect of the environmental light on the subject’s body. It usually create cleaner results if the light on the subject comes from the light-painting. But when the cloud coverage is high, we get a much more diffused and even light, no matter the direction we’re pointing at. And this is what we’re getting tonight. We’re taking the occasion to play with these rocks, that would normally not be our first choice, as we need to face East during sunset at that location.

    It's these little things I sometimes wish it can be useful for you. When it's very cloudy, then it's much easier to frame according to the nearby landscape (rocks, mountain), as opposed to when there's few clouds and we have to deal with the glow of the sunset. Let me know what you think ;)

    Beautiful! Loved the BTS combination of hyperlapse and slow motion. And seeing my friend Vanessa was the cherry on top! ❤️‍🔥

    can we use the tube light such as pavotube to create the same visual like this?

    • @Ericpare
      @Ericpare  Před měsícem

      that works (I have two pavotubes!). But it's so heavy. That makes it hard to do smooth shapes, especially for things like this: instagram.com/p/C7tnfRJoUXC/.
      I prefer to use my light-weight tube: lightpainting.store/
