Honestly...I think this might have been Bob Saget's ONLY game show celebrity guest appearance (well before hosting 1 vs 100 for NBC and Nashville Squares on CMT and after being a bachelor on the 1978-80 Dating Game before he was famous). His on-screen daughters (Candace Cameron and Jodie Sweetin, the former also making rounds on syndie Double Dare/Nick's Family Double Dare, and the latter being on Fox's Fun House and more recently Celebrity Wheel of Fortune in 2021 and Pictionary with Jerry O'Connell and Name that Tune, both in 2022) appeared on Hollywood Squares also during the 1988-89 season, and Dave Coulier would later be a celebrity guest on To Tell the Truth 2000-02 and Funny You Should Ask. Also, I totally forgot but John Stamos was on the General Hospital team on a Richard Dawson Family Feud Celebrity Special. I wonder if Saget would have ever guested on Super Password if it had a longer run.
Gene Wood(who was back announcing Feud as of a few months before this taped and aired) is doing the opening, but Bob Hilton is announcing the fee plugs and Kline and Friends Production bit at the end.
The fee plugs were done in post production I guess. Gene could have been committed to Family Feud or CLassic COncentration on the day the fee plugs were taped.
Most of the time that it true about replacing the fee plugs,. A few network game shows showed reruns in the Summer from time to time and had updated fee plugs. Not always the same announcer reading the updated fee plugs as the regular announcer the show had, however.
I think it's ok to have smaller stakes. Not every game show has to have the pressure of big money. Some game shows can be just fun. Also, both players got to keep their money regardless if they won the game or not, so for me that made up for the smaller winnings.
She shared oxygen with Bob Saget! Awesome! :D

Here's a 1989 episode of Win, Lose Or Draw in syndication. This is with Barbara Holliday, Elaine Boosler, Bob Saget, and Martin Mull.
I think Barbara was on another game show after this.
R.I.P. Bert Convy and Gene Wood
And Bob Saget too
RIP Bert Convy, Gene Wood, and Bob Saget.
what time was that on central time?

why was it that GENE WOOD only did the open and BOB HILLTON did the close of the show.

+Zach Horan When syndicated game shows were repeated during the summer, fee plugs were replaced.

They used two different Toyota’s in that commercial.
Banban Akaza Deka Red
They should have let her keep going to make more money after she had surpassed the guy
The rule was that as soon as you overtook your opponent in the Speed Round, it ended right then/there.
Cheap show. $1000 $2000 is not much money even back then.
That is one of those game shows where prize money really isn't all that important.
@@Tubewings - Exactly...it was more about the gameplay and the "party" atmosphere.

Booooo...the women win! :(
Morticia Marina No, I'm not. It seems like from the game, every timed I tuned in, the women kept winning.
Rubbish very old
Youre not that old fella...
