  • I love these, they are not hard to make, just a bit time consuming with shaping and sanding.... But drinking tea or coffee is on an another level....
    Hope you'll enjoy

I made one of these, didn't come out as nice as yours, but pretty close. I call it my Tequila Patron cup. Awesome. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice! I like the accent of the paint for that one.

Very nice. I especially liked the flared lip on the side when it's held in the right hand. Great craftsmanship!

Thank you very much mr.Howard, I was in dillema to make it with or without but I'm glad I did incorporate it.....thank you for support 🥰

Instead of sanding, you could have used spokeshaves and rasps. More control, less dust. Loved this project.

Thanks for suggestion, I did use before rasps but somehow I prefer 80g sandpaper for shaping, I just find it easier....and I have used discs from bowl turning so I used them...goes really fast.... Thank you for support and comment 😀

Since you say in the video description that the cup is to be used for drinking hot beverages, I am curious what finish you used. Based on the video I would guess mineral oil, but doesn’t stand up to frequent use for a drinking vessel. What (food safe) finish did you use and how is it standing up to frequent use?

I think I used linseed oil from oli natura, that is what I would use ..... Hot drinks can go inside but not boiling liquid.... That will make it cracked....
But we don't dring boiling liquid so wood doesn't like it either😂
