Great job recording. This guy doing a great demolish.
In my local city there is this shopping mall built in 1988. I remember the old building being demolished to make way for this shopping mall. But I can't even remember what the building looked like.

Now that's a demo site the way I like to see it . Active separation of materials. A sorted site . Makes working on it way easier and organized.

That's an interesting tool they use to extend the reach of the excavator. No doubt a lot cheaper than getting in a high-reach rig. I thought I saw two different ones, on looking homemade. Those guys are very good with them.

They also used it to reach the top level of this building.

Well maintained machines . Not a hint of chain squeel or sloppy joints . Very nice Berg

I think they could have used a 3rd excavator. one can mostly do the teardown and stack the materials behind him so the other two can sort . There is a lot of time spend sorting here .it's a slow demo for that reason. Especially with the high amount of metals in this structure

I guess this is being replaced with yuppie sawdust and cardboard apartments set at high rents

Why did they need to demo it? It looked nice and there are a lot older buildings in the world which are still standing fine. Seems wasteful. But it's a fun demo otherwise 🙂 Great crash at 2:18 😁

It's a government building. As soon as the cost of running it exceeds the benefit it gets brought down . You are right though . There is buildings more deserving of demo then this one . It could easily have been repurposed.

As a builder who uses demolition contractors all the time. This is the worst outfit I have seen. Inexperience!!

They really need an excavator with longer reach
