THIS is why pilots like you are so vital. I pray that woman and her baby have a good outcome! Thank you for everything that you do and God bless you in your work.
You sell yourself short brother! You are an outstanding pilot with nerves of steel!
The region is beyond blessed to have you helping them daily.
Thank you!
G,day Capt Ryan from Sydney Australia. That was a quick medical retrieval. The isolated areas are fortunate to have your service.
🌏🇦🇺
Great to see the ground crew doing their important jobs. It's really awesome that there is a med bed available to use with the Kodiac. I hope these people were able to get the medical help they needed. Thanks Ryan.
If you ever finish being a Missionary Pilot, you seriously need to be a Medivac pilot!!
I've thought about it
You definitely have the skills that are perfect for M/V, especially smooth landings on sketchy runways. 😂
I'm a Flight Medic and have connections if you ever want to make the leap.
Stay safe!!
I absolutely enjoy the time lapses at the end of the days mission. I probably would not bother with a separate channel.
I'd love having that second channel having relaxing backgound music, but not using timelapses, but real speed flights. Would be great for working in my home office.
I second this. Imagine having raw footage from start to end from under the wing ❤ doesn't need to be fancy, the stuff @MissionaryBushPilot does is already off the scale amazing 👍
Agreed!
YESSSS! Easier to edit / compile, too I’d imagine.
Yes!
Yes, my vote. Not timelapse but just the flight with some nice privacy protecting music. I like to pay attention to details during the flight :)
Ryan you truly a tuff pilot, terrains in the highlands are truly a challenge.
Nothing like being at 7500 and hearing the 500 callout haha. Fun flying
man, you're a star jump pilot with crazy skill... all those wild landings with extreme terrain features, that's intimidating for a canadian prairie guy... everything is flat around here.
It's just like golf, except you're the ball.
@@halcyonzenith4411 LOL. Yes, especially the bouncing before you get to the green.
@@alecepting1371 LOL!😂😅😂
Ive been following you for years, and although you call yourself Missionary Bush Pilot, really you're an angel with aluminum wings. May God bless you and the work you do!
You're natural...born to fly...not many pilots have the nerve to fly under in such weather conditions and topography. Godbless you, mate. You're God sent...
From one professional pilot to another - I truly pray for you to stay safe. The land there is SO unforgiving of even one little bit of poor judgement. So impressed with what you do.
thanks for your prayers
That landing gear sure gets a work out. 🛩
If I was to ever have a pregnant wife needing to be flown out of the mountains, I sure know who I would want the pilot to be!!
Gods blessings to you Ryan from your Oklahoma friend!!❤
I flew single pilot IFR back in the 60s. What a difference. You have great information at your fingertips. We had whatever we wrote down before takeoff. Your performance and management of the airplane is impressive and checkride perfect. Nice job!
Thanks for comming back to me. God bless you for what you are doing for those people. Live is hard, it means so much to have you in their lives.
Talk about a white knuckle flight wow Ryan your awesome and nerves of steel.
Ryan to the rescue. Those people are fortunate you guys are around. I sure like the high speed motion on the way back always.
I'd watch another one of your channels with time lapse and music.
Really incredible the typical conditions you fly in, pretty much scud running on the way back; such excellent judgement. Fly safe.
My friends, the Gillmore's, were thrilled to be able to meet you in PNG, Ryan. It sounds like God is doing an incredible work over there and I think it's great that your paths were able to cross. They described you as "friendly, professional, and spiritually minded" and I know you were an inspiration to Daniel Gillmore who also wants to become a bush pilot. God bless!
Wow, skillful flying with a nerve of steel.
Man you're a champion 🏆💪
Nuff respect
Bless up 🙏🙏💞
Time lapse video, Time lapse video, Time lapse video for lunch, YAAAY!
Even regular speed with relaxing music sounds awesome, I'm here for whatev!
Ryan, time-lapse flight would be KEWL. The return trip was awesome.
this pilot a Hero 🙏. God bless y'all...
You are a great pilot. These short, high altitude airfields require incredible skill and intuition. You make it look easy, but that's what experience brings. It's pretty cool that you make a huge difference to the people living there. Their choices for getting supplies or medical care are you and other pilots like you or walking out which has to take several days if not weeks in some cases. Anyone who wonders why the strips weren't made easier or better for aircraft needs to know they were mostly carved out of solid rock with hand tools.
Great job Ryan - thank you for your skill , courage and kindness. The lady and unborn child will be in my thoughts and prayers , as will you and your family. The timelapse thing sounds epic. Love from Rick.
What a turbulent flight! It's probably the most turbulent video you produced. I think it was hard on the sick passengers but even harder on you trying to give them a comfortable flight. Well done!💖🌞👑✝️😃
That was probably my most constant turbulent flight yet in PNG
Great job again and great landing, I sure that’s a great plane you’re flying there. keep up with helping people there, wish I could fly like you o well see ya next time do it to it and see ya bye.
Hi, i am from Pakistan. i like your vlogs and your dangerous Landings. You have very much skill. Feel good to see your videos.
The sick were in very skilled, competent hands. Keep up the great work, and stay the course.
OMG - You are one of the best pilots I have seen. Touch down just as your stall warning came on. That's accurate flying. Well done!
Great job as always Ryan! Love everything you do and often try to replicate the trip in MSFS 2020. Other than their auto gen scenery placing huge trees where they shouldn't be, it's not bad. I'd love to see some more timelapse videos, but then again I like your videos because you talk us through everything. Wow, the timelapse from this return flight really shows the turbulence! I hope the patient is doing well! Fly safe!
My heart breaks for that poor women. Pregnancy with complications, 1st time on a plane. While watching the time lapse for the return flight I was getting air sick! Can't imagine how SHE felt. I pray all is well with her and her child. You are more than a cargo/passenger pilot you are everything to the people there. Amazing videos. Love to see another set of time lapse videos. How about slowing them down just for final so we can see the touchdown. Thank you! God bless
Always good to get the latest updates on UAS's , see you next week
I love the time-lapsed flight back and the background music! Please keep it going.
Lifesaver.....! Great work great video!
Great flight! Hope the woman and baby are okay! Your videos give us the opportunity to pray for them and for you!🙏🙏🙏
You are a very skilled and caring pilot, know that your caring attitude does not go unnoticed in the channel. Today’s video also demonstrates how the Kodiak 100 is such a mission suitable plane. On the side note, I hope to see you buy and fly a plane of your own again one day soon. I enjoyed those US flights you did as much as I do these Mission ones.
Nice Soundtrack at the end. Didn't see such turbulences in your videos that often.
Always enjoy your videos. Never a dull moment flying a nice plane like that.
Thanks again Ryan, Hope your ill passengers recover well. :-)
Must be amazing to have a job with such deep meaning :)
I do enjoy it for sure
I love watching your videos….it helps me visualize some of what my brother Bruce might have done years ago for NTM in a Cessna 185 or 206….i sure miss my brother….
I'm glad that you back flying where you are most needed. God Bless.
Great work as always
I can’t believe what you do operating in that dangerous environment But you make it look easy
Great job - being a old retired firefighter / EMT. I did thousands of medical emergency calls. Never via a plane. Thank you for the video, always love them. Seeing a location I will never get to in person. God Bless and thank you for all you do.
Reminds me of a medi vac I did in the early 60's in a WW2 jeep from Komperi to Kainantu in the middle of the night. It involved a meri who was having difficulties giving birth....Was close! both mother and child requiring blood transfusions, all worked out well in the end.
I just found you on CZcams, time lapse with music is interesting. This world needs more people like you. Thank you for what you are doing.
😎🇨🇦🇺🇲🙏
انت رجل شجاع God bless you
You've got the highlands pidgin down pat mate 😂👌
Hey Ryan, I'd watch the timelapses. I enjoy when you talk and explain everything more, but that's like a bonus content, so I vote YES
Well done Ryan - excellent
So glad you are there able to help. Safe travels and good speed!
What a fantastic combination of skills to be able to pull off this mission! Also, what a thrilling job compared to most of us chickenhearts.
The timelapses at the end of the videos are awesome. love seeing 2 sectors rather than just the one.
Great Job as Always ! Must be quite the feeling after any successful Medevac Flight ! Great Videos.. Keep 'em coming !
Awesome. The timelapse outro with some great music really brings home the vibe in the video. A real mission. :)
Felt real sorry for that pregnant lady, hope they are okay.
Oh man!! You have heart of steal. I was nervous even watching this video!!!
Nice video, keep it up!
Beautiful mountains, very relaxing. Great video, except two white smudges on both sides. Could you please keep the front window cleaner?
God bless you, my brother in wings! Your efforts are amazing and really necessary. Never give up!
Sure like the time-lapse return. You are a genuinely good man. May Heavenly Father continue to bless you.
Thank you kindly
great vid as usual / this was a pretty turbulent flight !
Good morning from Minnesota USA! Great episode! BTW Thank you Ryan! It's Awesome!
My favorite part about this is you made a video for us detailing the situation while fully respecting the privacy of the patient. As always a very impressive pilot with an impressive character.
Hope your passenger and bub are fine. I remember village medical emergencies back in the 70s, very scary.
The time lapse and the music were really nice. -Beautiful, even… 👍🏽👍🏽
You make my throat dry, and I’m just overwhelmed to see the goodness in your work. The terrain challenges you and MAF pilots face everyday. God Bless you, we thank Him for sending angels like you. ❤🎉😢😢😢
There are strips near my home in BC, where you ALWAYS land uphill ant finish by taxiing at full power to the top where you Immediately turn cross strip and hit the brakes. Takeoffs are thus a breeze, down hill. At another strip when the lake is high it floods the centre of the strip so you touch down on the first part and hop to the second part and take off in the same manner. At a Third strip, you approach over the lake and land straight into the mountain with no possibilty of a go around. When you get your Licence, you already have your Mountain Flying Endorsement.
Novembre tango bravo .thank you i continue to fly with you , wonderfull God bless you your work ,your passager, and your mission ❤hour familly.2
I shared your video with a group of Pilot friends and here is a comment from Steve who flies an RV8.
“Tim posted a video a few days ago from the "Missionary Bush Pilot" CZcams Channel and silly me..... I watched. I was mesmerized. Ever since I have been watching them non-stop. I haven't slept, eaten or even gone to the bathroom (ok, I mean getting up and going to the actual bathroom room!) since my binge watching began. The chickens and cows haven't been fed, the kids are begging for some attention, and the wife..... let's not even go there! :) It's all TIM'S fault!
The skills, professionalism and capabilities of this pilot simply amaze me. He's flying into some of the most remote, difficult landing strips in the world (Papua, New Guinea) and yet the ease and professionalism with which he handles all aspects of his flights.... flight planning, ATC communications, avionics, decision making, pure piloting skills, etc. to me is amazing. The last video that I watched was.... "The Most Dangerous Airport In the World Has Nothing on This Place". The one before that was "INSANE WEATHER]Unexpected White-Knuckle Flight"
Watch at your own risk. If you get hooked and spend countless hours watching them, don't blame me.... blame TIM!
:) thanks for sharing
You are awesome, thank you so much for your service to our people of Obura Wonenara District. ❤
Timelapse sequences with relaxing music great idea 💡
Glad you like them!
You are a kind soul.
Absolutely love your videos! Pure excellence
So enjoying your posts. I worked in Mendi many years ago. I am hosting a group of EHP women farmers and bilum makers in Tasmania soon via my friend Bilum Mary.
Love the ‘time lapse’ Ryan
Great work young man!👨✈️
Надо же, молодец всё заранее продумывает! Наш бы пилот просто сказал: " Ну что покойнички, полетели!"
Hi Ryan, I am one of your subscribers who loves the time-lapse and I am totally supporting your idea of new channel with time-lapse videos with music. It is good idea and I will be the first subscriber in that channel. Good luck Pilot.
I wanted to do missionary work in the early 1970's there. Even visited Goroka as part of a round visit per plane and boat of all major cities. What an experience. People warned me off because of the transport difficulties and the extremely dangerous weather conditions for flying. My undying respect for Tim and all pilots and medical staff navigating in Papua New Guinea. "57 across that hill." Cool, man. Nerves of steel and he knows what he's doing. Respect. It's really good to see so many of the Papua New Guinea indigenous folk working in these areas where before, there were practically none.
I enjoy your videos. My older brother, Barry Borror was a Missionary pilot for Mission Aviation Fellowship, back in the day. He served in Haiti, Honduras, Surinam, French Guiana. Once, he was privileged to fly Mother Theresa across Haiti in his 4 seater to some missions she supported. He also served as a flight instructor for MAF a Johnson City, TN.
Thank you for yet another amazing video full of details
Sitting in a hospital, recovering after donating a kidney, your channel brings me peace and a nice distraction. Thanks
Way to go! 👍👍
I really appreciate how every move you make I can see exactly what you are doing; the graphics are superb!
So,
you're also a hero. You made the world a bit better that day ❤
Please make another channel or playlist for Timelapses, I would recommend the relaxing flights channel as inspo
Enjoyed the timelapse and music.
Great mission..You are the man..
id call upon you every day to pilot me to these remote places. thanks for the amazing videos
Big fan of the way you put this video together Ryan, you are doing great work both from a humanitarian point of you plus on the videos.
thank you for taking us with you; doing the most beautiful job in such a wonderful place and making a difference in the proces!
pilot got balls !!! the lift off gave me chillls
Time lapse channel will be awesome!
Loved the video and the time-lapse at the end was beautiful!
God Bless you captain Ryan for your service.
I definitely would watch time lapse with relaxing tunes. It's a YES from me!
You are a true gutsy hero. God Bless from Oz😍
