1990 was the 20th anniversary of the Bassmaster Classic.
The only T V show I'd Lose sleep to watch when I was a kid I would wake up at 4:30 am to tune into my Hero's.. Thank you for all the great memories Ray Scott and Bassmasters..

Great video. At 39:05, with all the excitement, Rick must have accidentally said the RC3 runs 18 feet deep. In the Worden's brochure, it is listed as a 4-8 foot diver. The RC1 is a 2-3 foot diver.

Well, Glenn John, the name of the theme song used from 1985 until 1999 is called "Challenger". The music cue used during the end of every Bassmaster Classic episode also used from 1985 until 1999 is called "The Winning Tradition". Both of these music cues were composed by Omnimusic, now a part of APM Music. You can now find these tunes and other production music on the APM Music Website at apmmusic.com.

Love how blunt ray was. He had a way of saying things. He was a great man though. Without him we wouldn't be where we are today for sure. Made a lot of jobs for people and made a way for the entrepreneur also.

KVD is still overrated, Change my mind
He has 25 wins most in B.A.S S. history. 4 Bassmaster Classic Wins tied with the Most ever .7 Angler of the year awards 2nd most ever.Won close to 6.5 Million Dollars With B.A.S.S by far the most ever..The only year he fished FLW he won Angler of the year.Has won multiple tournaments with MLF. He is the Greatest tournament Bass fisherman of all time period...!! Change my mind ..!!
KVD not overrated I'm not a fan but u didnt put much thought into that comment lol
@@slabbusterrtr7690 It doesn't take much thought to see how overrated he is and he left Quantum in the lerch after they helped him develop his mediocre success in the bass tour.
KVD is the greatest Bass tournament fishermen of all time. His career and achievements have hardly been mediocre lol. What he has done is unbelievable. To win ONE bass tournament is incredibly difficult
Fishing was much better when 2 pros shared the boat. Less cheating.
