Singapore Youth Festival Central Judging 2011 Set piece : Memories of Friendship Choice piece : Orient Express Conductor: Mr David Glosz Award: Gold with Honours
Guys chill. Music isn't supposed to be about judging. never about judging. It's Singapore Youth FESTIVAL. when was it singapore youth COMPETITION. People should embrace the music and whatever medal is was, they knew they gave our best. So what if we got GWH? We don't care. It's the friends in band and the times we shared together that makes us bonded. Music comes naturally and not forcefully. So don't hate just cause you got lower. We don't really care about it.
Cmon man! give them a break. how many secondary school bands are able to play Orient Express well? This school might not be perfect but i felt that it was overall a good rendition. :) stop being bitter about not getting a COP, B, S, G or whatever! its how much you improved musically throughout the entire that matters the most!
If they're confident of not going off tune then it's fine with the band/conductor that they tune before starting on their songs. It might also give the judges a good impression of the band, even before they play the songs. Get it?
@Freedomspy26 dude, please not here. let people enjoy music and just dont disturb. If you want to do anything take it up personally to all of us in real life. if not, then go away.
I can't believe I'm crying right now as I'm listening to this. This brings back of a lot of memories. 5 years ago. ;)
