All very technically advanced but Do we really need more power than 90Nm and does lightweight actually matter. Don't forget TQ first had a 120Nm motor in a Hiabike that faded away. If they were really forward thinking it would be very silent and have a manual change Rohloff hub, belt drive with tucked in front tensioner .Alternatively they should have gone down the excellent Revonte twin motor automatic type system path. I do less than 400miles/year of muscular mtb it didn't stop me from making a 60miles 4773ft mountain up and down recently with less than 100miles of training oh and I'm 25% overweight I can do it but I'm destroyed for 24hrs after that I rented emtb twice 1st one mostly flat around a lake 43miles going in eco mode coming back in turbo mode felt like I did nothing no sweat not tired, 2nd time up and down 1 mountain + another mountain pass 6600ft ascent ! this time yes I was tired and ran out of battery right before parking but like the 1st time a few hours later it felt as if I did nothing, emtb are motorbikes anyone that tell you otherwise isn't honest on that last rental most of the ascent were 1:3 33% or 1:2 50% slopes most of them on dirt or grass not roads or mtb trails but pedestrian hiking trails there's absolutely no way you can do this on muscle power emtb are great fun but it's not sport it's recreational entertainement, on strong motors the pedaling is just pretend 25kph 15mph is almost your minimum speed because in 2-3 pedal push you're already at that and that's all you'll see unless you climb, and in fact on our 1st flat road rental our average speed was 16.7mph above the limiter we were shocked by how easy it was and were constanly over-pedaling the bike, note that I didn't say I didn't want one I actually do but as a "green" legal and silent motorbike that will allow me to go on mountain trails that were too remote to reach without one, I hike a lot but sometimes the trails are too easy and long for regular walking an emtb would make more sense
@@fredEVOIX you arent going fast enough, the upper body workout is noticeable on proper terrain , to get the full effect that you are missing you could be peddling with the same effort as a conventional but going faster , you are riding it like a conventional bike climbing at 15kmph instead of on the limiter at 25 and doing the same number of laps in 1 hour as you would in two normally. Its ok though , no one is forcing you to get an ebike and if you do invest use it as you wish , its yours to benefit from as you want if it makes sense to you, the same way my bike is mine to be that spark that returns the fun to the sport. Yes it is a motor bike by definition and its the perfect balance allowing it to ride any trail unlike a yz426 which you couldn't compare a (250w) ebike to . I love seeing regular people able to enjoy the forest with me through an ebike, some become hard core riders from an achievable start into the sport, other rely on the motor for life , so what.
You guys breifly talked about 'other players in the game' While this is true, Modern pricing gets destroyed because of it, the more guys there are you used to see a fight for lower pricing, now its about pumping out new stuff and all the pricing is extremely high to make up for lack of market share....
wow, anti theft system, password, great ! what makes it so much heavier than, lets say, the Orbea Rise ? i guess tyres battery and heavier motor ?

Price?
ha - these days when I ride my peddle bike around all these Ebikes i feel like im riding a horse and buggy in a nascar race
Projected price?
I like how it doesn't look as fat as all the other e bikes
It's a beautiful bike and it exudes quality just like all DJI products; however, to claim it is THE most powerful e-bike is nonsense. All e-bikes based on the Bafang BBSHD have 160nm of torque as standard and peak power is 1764 Watts plus it can keep this up all day not just for 30 seconds.
We need to say" Goodbye Derailleur" but without the coffee grinder uphill sound of the Pinion MGU. E=Mtb²
Lots of plastic cogs inside the motor according to a video on the AMFLOW site. How durable I wonder?
First I‘ve not studied mechanical engineering but even if it is plastic it is maybe possible because they are only part of the planetary gear and the force gets distributed to all the 3 gearing wheels. Maybe it only looks like plastic due to the color. Would be interesting to know what it really is
@@dennis.lc8407 They remind me of the plastic cog inside the early Tongsheng that wore down and people replaced with a more durable metal cog.
DJI make some of the best electric motors on the planet. I really wouldn't worry too much about their quality, even then I'm sure their customer service will be top notch.
@@dennis.lc8407 I think DJI stated it was tested to 50,000 km. So basically it'll outlast the bike..
how much £$??
The software features are really great. In the end, the motor is also limited to 250 watts. What remains is a relatively light package 100-300g lighter than the competition.

the motor is 1000w peak and 250W continuous nominal declared power , make no mistake this is a wolf in wolf's clothing
They are not limited
I think the ratings are a bit like Japan’s gentleman agreement of 276 horsepower. Some cars like the GTR say 276hp, but they actually do closer to 350. 250w is just its nominal rating. If it’s capable of 1000w peak power in 30 second bursts, then you’ll never be wanting for power
Why no size small?
Looking for an opportunity to acquire one...
How much?
Can u record a strava run?
Looks stunning.
