It's possible to see that with smooth inputs the car is really fast. Bigger inputs and it's starts rotating like crazy, fun but not quick and those tyres get some beating! Thanks for the best track video so far on CZcams

I also own the same color i4 M50 with regular 19in wheels. The car can be a handful when drives on the limit.. You are a very good driver with amazing car handling skills. Wish I can drive on Nürbugring one day..

Il y a effectivement 500 kg d'écart par rapport à une M4, c'est beaucoup, mais une électrique à un centre de gravité très bas... Ça joue beaucoup sur la tenue de route, on perd d'un côté pour gagner de l'autre.

@@mathieuweinfortner8838 justement, ce n'est pas une voiture qui cherche à imiter la M4, elle propose quelque chose de différent. C'est ni mieux ni moins bien, c'est juste autre chose.
Perso je suis pas contre une BMW électrique, mais ce qui me dérange c'est cette calandre façon groin de cochon.
Jusqu'à présent les BMW étaient agressives mais avec une certaine élégance. Cette calandre gache tout le design
Pourtant ce ne sont pas des paquebots qu'il dépasse... Quoiqu'il en soit je suis très content de mon m50. L'aspect karting du m240i va me manquer c'est sûr.

Driver was sideways @ 3:40. A lessor driver braking there would have lost it. Impressive handling. Sounded just like the BMW autocross - on a bigger/faster scale... Best video yet showing handling capabilities. What was wheel/tire combo?
J'ai acheté 2 jeux de simracing et, bien sûr, j'ai testé ce circuit. C'est ultra difficile de terminer un tour sans avoir d'accident. J'ai commencé avec des GTE, ce qui n'était pas la meilleure idée. 😂 Avec la BMW M4 GT4, ça allait mieux, mais ce circuit reste très exigeant et difficile. Ce circuit a de nombreux pièges où on peut facilement avoir un accident.

It’s so trippy how quiet the race is.
Would be interesting to hear from the driver if he has driven the Taycan 4S around the ring and for the i4M50 compares. I have the M50 and the brother has the 4S, on normal roads at normal speeds the Porsche feels more planted but the i4 feels quicker between the curves.

Those tires just aren't able to handle the weight and power. Does look like a fun drive :)

I have driven a lot of i4 M50 on the road, with dsc off. But I feel like the car is holding back power when you are in a corner and smash the throttle in hope of a nice skid, it limits the power and spoils the fun.. Even if ur not trying to skid aswell, it just want to limits power untill the steering wheel is straight.. I was huge let down by this. Nice to see it will skid if you throw it around

En marge des haineux, je trouve ça intéressant d'entendre le travail des pneus, la puissance est là, l'équilibre à l'air top. Et la concentration est complètement dédiée au pilotage et non à la gestion du moteur (qui peut être excitante aussi bien sûr). Pour finir il dépose tout le monde quand même, a bord d'une grosse familiale, c'est pas une pistarde.
Niveau bruit et émotions entre ça et un gros mazout qui fait un bruit de tracteur et rupt a 4000tr/min le choix est vite fait.

Le survirage reprend ses droits après 5:10 😁 Freins corrects, bien plus endurants que ceux de la Tesla Model 3 Performance. Mais l'i4 était moins bien chaussée, dommage...

This one or Tesla 3MP? Looks like Tesla got tired after half a lap and went into so kind of "Limp Mode". Have you noticed any reduced power output in BMW at the end of the lap?
The BMW holds its power as the battery drains unlike Tesla.

Effectivement un peu de poids en plus mais le plaisir de conduire a l'air d'avoir été en grande partie préservé. Et perdre le bruit du 6L pour sauver la planète est le prix à payer mais il en vaut la peine

1. How foooked were the tyres after that? Heavy beast to be hustling round but you handled the fuck out of it.
2. How much of the battery does a balls out ring lap kill?

Due to a big yellow flag zone before the karussell, we were not able to get a consistent lap time

Hows thermal management compared to ev6 gt?
EV6 GT is better... even if the i4's power decreases less than the former Model 3 Performance

@largus thanks..yes that's on the list but expensive as it's new. Would you Say second place is ev6 gt or other car?
EV6 GT has clearly the best thermal management. But it is a little bit heavy/smooth for track use... We are waiting for the new Tesla Model 3 Performance : the former one has good chassis and is not too heavy. Brakes are horrible but they change it. They also have to improve the thermal management. Track use remains difficult for electric cars 🙂
This guys driving is very good!! This car is rubbish though for nearly 100k with options its slower then a slightly tunedhot hatch. This guys driving can make any car look good though

C’est triste…ça a l’air tellement lourd pataud à conduire…j’avais hâte de voir la future M électrique mais ça s’annonce compliqué. Par contre jolie coup de volant. Ça doit être encore plus compliqué dans une voiture aussi lourde

C'est préciser dans la description, elle avait des pneus de merde en gros.
