- Here my friend Jordi shows me around the massive electron microscopes he uses for his PhD research in Materials Sciences at University of Cambridge! These so-called 'transmission electron microscopes' or 'TEM' are basically the ultimate level of microscopy that is physically possible, and can be used to image materials down to the level of individual atoms which is pretty insane. Also Jordi is awesome so watch the video because of that as well.
Many thanks go out to the Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy, University of Cambridge for hosting us, as well as the StranksLab for their role in Jordi's research!
I'll be continuing to make these videos for the time being as they're a huge amount of fun and for sure let me know if there's a particular topic or subject you would like to see covered!
