When La Di Da first came out, that's when I first found this awesome group. OF COURSE I had fun going back through and looking at their older mv's and they are really AWESOME! Can't help but like all of their music but I really think that La Di Da will always be my favorite, probably because I am a real creature of habit so the first impression really affects me a lot. I thought you did okay here, at least you didn't die from this reaction... :)

Synthwave is a genre like any other, It's normal for people to find retro songs similar to Blinding lights since it's really famous, but Synthwave has always existed, just that it really hit Kpop hard since 2020, it became the trend and it was active throughout the whole 2021 and still sounding in 2022

First thing first, U know I love your videos and also I gagged when I found out you were 19 omg that explains a lot NO SHADE LOL. I am also 19 tewwww but you look way older (NOT A BAD THING). However, I am so happy you love EVERGLOW. I been tryna put you on them for the longest cus they are so teaaaaaa. They are my second most favorite girl group after BLACKPINK. Lemme tell you some info on them though. Yes, they are a 4th GEN and I think all 4th gen groups debuted from 2017-now. They debuted in 2019 and come from Yuehua Entertainment and I remember when I started stanning them I heard EVERGLOW has more international fans than domestic fans which is true. (There is a reason behind this too I believe) ...but just knowit gets challenging when idols come from a Chinese company or are Chinese and promote in Korea especially when the time comes for representing one's country. I think it's like underlying political/cultural reasons or sumn. For example, Yiren in this group is Chinese and something happened where Yiren(with Everglow) were at a fan event on January 2 to greet fans in Seoul. The greeting consisted of the members kneeling down to touch the floor with their foreheads in traditional Korean style. However, Yiren did a Chinese hand gesture (the fist and palm salute to express thanks and New Year greetings). It was quoted that "In Chinese culture kneeling down is seen as a servile gesture and is no longer considered appropriate. In South Korea, it remains in use as a way to greet others and offer thanks". So by her doing this it caused A LOT of backlash and ppl were telling her r@c!st remarks. It was baddddd. She got hate for days.

Yup, these are the members and I hope this gave you more of an understanding on who is who and that way you can pick your bias IF you don't have one. Also, another girl group I recommend is STAYC. They have a girly concept but they blew up for two of their songs "Stereotype" and "ASAP" and they are ALSO a very visual group. They have one more song before those two called "So bad" recommend that as well as I think it was their debut song. They do have a comeback this month too so it would be perfect for you to maybe start stanning them if you like them heehee. Anyways, EVERGLOW FOREVER LES GO!
