  • One of the easiest seat post installations we've ever done. The SDG Tellis works well and is easy for users to set up.

Some people grease the post to prevent it from moving, I have an aluminum frame, do I need to grease? If so what type of grease?

Does the cable attached to the actuator go down? I mean how sure am I that it doesn't go loose down there and just drop? Does it have anything there to clip it in?

Man that lever design is great. You have more patience than me with regards to internal cable routing. Have you had much time with SDG's post? I've been on a KS LEV for a long time, curious how they compare.

I just rode one of these, and it's pretty bad. Doesn't like to compress, and the lever feels like it's about to break every time I press it. The lever also has a gross, spongey low end feel.
It's on a demo bike, so I'm trying to give it the benefit of the doubt. Looking for informational vids on setup and adjustment so I can try to see if I can make it work better.

Sorry you're having issues! Demo bikes typically live a rough life so that probably has a lot to do with it. We've had zero issues with ours. Try reaching out to SDG directly. They're pretty helpful.

Sounds like you had the barrel adjuster too loose. If it gets tightened, then you will have proper actuation which allows the valve to open all the way.
