Lost in a Wood in Sofia, Bulgaria • Travel Vlog

Today's vlog is unusual! This is my first actual travel vlog! Me and my friend Sevcho ( / kosmos_5e ) absolutely spontaneously decided to travel to Sofia by train!
Sofia is the capital and largest city of Bulgaria. It is situated in the eponymous valley at the foot of the Vitosha mountain in the western parts of the country. The city is built west of the Iskar river, and has many mineral springs, such as the Sofia Central Mineral Baths
We caught a train at night and read books all the way to Sofia (about 8 hours). Then we went to the spookiest woods in St. Boyana's Park! It was really foggy and dark. We took the hardest path and a calm hike turned into mountain climbing! We reached the highest point on Suhi Vruh and touched a cloud on the top of the mountain Vitosha. We also saw stunning waterfalls and plants!
After that we went to see the city and the most famous cultural buildings, like University of Sofia and the Municipality, as well as St. Alexandar Nevski Cathedral! This was really beautiful. the cathedral represents the whole country and is one of the most famous and important symbols of Bulgaria.
We also explored the underground and tram, since we are train lovers. We came back to our hometown Varna the same night. This is a very interesting story, so make sure to watch it until the end, comment, like and subscribe if you would like to see more videos like this one on my channel!
