RGL the GOAT 🐐 On a side note, it really shows you how insane the hobby has gotten with prices for product when you can rip some pretty damn good boxes and likely still come out a little behind or just breaking even
Thats what i also find wild. When i started people never talked about making money back on your break. Then people started talking about breaking even on breaks... now people want to focus on making more money than you paid in for the break.

I cannot believe people are falling for this hype and falling victim to these companies taking away your $$$ with BS autos and other cards pretty much worth nothing,, I mean come on.. $8000 for a case of cards??? @@mpix00 the hell are you even talking about? You’re paying for a product. It isn’t their job to make sure you can re sell it. Sure there’s a monetary aspect to collecting but if you’re going in thinking you’re gonna re sell the cards for more money and they’ll just leave money on the table you’re fooling yourself and have been tricked by the boom.

totally agree...how is this a ridiculous case? You are supposed to get autos and patches, but unless they are total bangers, it is a losing proposition
This was a very good case, he definitely profited on the raw values of the cards.. Graded, he could make considerable gains. And who knows what happens with some of those rookies maybe turning into superstars like kuminga, green, Cade.
This was was +$1000 or so win. Cade is $4-5k, Bill is $1k, Kuminga is $1500, Jalen is $1k+

Kinda shocked Kuminga RPA sells for a $1000. I mean, like the kid, but yeesh. Gold Cade metal/10 is so nice. So one of those pulled last week too.

when I hear 7500 for a box or boxes of cards, my first thought is -- how much will this person lose by opening this box...unless you get an absolute banger of a card, you are going to lose 99% of the time
he got a banger and i still dont see 7k of value there... Terrible for the state of the hobby
@@MrOBJECTIVEOBSERVER It sucks, but it's mostly rich people losing money they have to spare, so I don't feel too bad. These are not boxes that most everyday collectors are opening, unless they're in a break.

In my head (during the break) I had the Gold at $4-5k, Bill Russell @ $1500, Kuminga @ $1k and Green at $1k, so I thought those 4 cards alone got him there.

That was an awesome case! Have to admit that I cringed a little bit at the repeated “ God box”, “Jesus”, “Oh my God” comments lol. Only because I’ve read that Phil is a devout Christian, to the point that he has Bible verses written on his glove and tattooed on his body. He seems super chill though, so I’m sure it was no biggie. I would’ve said the same opening that banger.
You must lack reading comprehension and/or a formal education.
This is fair criticism. If it wasn't 4am in the morning and doing it on a whim, I likely would have remembered this.
