Hey I just wanted to say thanks for making these videos. I already like watching battles but really like the extra commentary. The extra insight into battle rap is amazing.
On that note some people don't seem to like Lush One, but he has been so involved for so long he is a great source of random battle rap knowledge.

If there is indeed a battle rap panel that actually judges, criticizes, categorizes battlers, etc (shout out to @jayblac1615 trying to make this an actuality) Lush One better assuredly be on that panel or at minimal called upon a hundred times for his input. Much respect to those who live in battle rap and are cool as fuck. Lush One is 'those.'
Something I've really appreciated about RYD is including Lush within the commentary. Every KOTD battle with Lush hosting, there was like 50 percent of comments making fun of Lush's outfits, phrases, drugs he's on, etc....Dude took hella-hate from mad people. People don't understand though, how much he has done for the WEST-COAST (FRESHCOAST) CULTURE. Dude knows the whole history behind so many battles, and is close with all the battlers. Yes he can be very extra sometimes, outfits and intro's included, but the dude straight-up loves battle rap and the culture and has never given up on it. I appreciate that, and it's nice to see people on the RYD channel finally appreciating it too. It actually gives Lush a chance to show off all his knowledge on the battles and the history. ILLMAC is the best at breaking down bars, UNO is the best at knowing the history behind battles and his memory.

Hey Avocado, I love you show. It is my favorite show to watch. Its educational and fun to watch. I met you in person at the Rum Nitty vs A ward event. You may not remember me but I'm the guy who said " I have a college degree in film making". You seem like and awesome person and I would love to met you again or possibly work together some day. With that being said " I don't like the way you edited the A ward and Rum Nitty battle. Your work is much better. WTF happened ? " LOL" I know you can do better. You are the fucking man dog !!!! Funny how people will consider Nocando an intellect but the dude can't make it through a full sentence without saying like at least three times. People are quick to call Lush one a drug addict and the dude is not only incredibly well spoken, but has the memory of a fucking elephant! Humor for days too. Keep Lush on every one of these if possible! So many fucking knowledge nuggets. Would be cool to see someone like Conceited stop by too.

I know this dude talking about people quickly judging others and then hints that Nocando shouldn't be considered "an intellect(ual/smart/genius)" simply because hes saying "like" a lot. From what I've seen, Nocando is smart and talented af, and Lush One definitely is as well. Being essentially a walking human Google for battle rap knowledge and funny as fuck. (Which he can be at the same time as being a drug addict) Although he's sober now and still a legend, and props to his sobriety(and Avos!) know how hard it is myself.
Well it's been 4 years so maybe homeboy can see Nocando is intelligent, whether or not he says like excessively. And also that intellect needs a ual in that context, or that he made a typo in a CZcams comment 4 years back. And more recently that this response of mine didn't need to be nearly as long as it is.

Pass' flow and delivery always comes through dope, no matter the time. Day was deff ahead of his time, but it's like NoCan said that you can be original and ground-breaking but you have to also relate to the listeners at the time, so you can relate to people and have them understand your raps and enjoy them. Much like Lush related to a DJ playing music for people. Good battle, but I had Pass either 2-1, or 3-0. Pass had a great presence and delivery during the battle, and his conversational rebuttals between each round were on point as well.
Zachary Madden however that can be a real crutch for some rappers, especially ones like Daylyt who are far more on the poetic tip. Just my opinion, cuz then we might've never got classics like vs B Magic, Chilla or Mike P for example. Not saying you should always rap one of those ways but it seems quite unfair to only judge a battle in this one aspect because a crowd can be on some diva ish and not give you a chance.

I like Daylyt but he was never really THAT dope to me. He's heavily overrated, and the word association shit is simply not that great. Plus he ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS have to pull out these nursery rhyme references that don't even mean anything, but niggaz go APE SHIT over that shit cuz I guess they miss their childhood or sum shit. Lush is goin' WAYYYY too hard to give Daylyt credit. I thought Pass CLEARLY took this 3-0 when this first came out, and upon second watch, I feel this even more so. I will say Daylyt has gotten better over time, but I wouldn't put him in my top 20 tbh. #OD9
