I have to admit, i eat like a child bc i have autism and my parents never taught me how to eat properly and your video gave me so many healthy ideas for myself and my future children thank u :) ♥️
YES, and how many freezer/ juice pops are sold at Wal-Mart every day ... Talk about plastic use lol. I do more reusable things personally, but more to save $ 🤣
When cooking with broccoli you can also use those small stems and even the big stem (you just have to peel the big stem with an knife). It adds nutrients, reduces food waste and tastes delicious! 😊
They all look delicious 🙌🏻. For some viewers, just thought I would mention, unless you’re gluten intolerant your body needs gluten. Some have thought it is healthier to go gluten free everything but it’s not unless you’re gluten intolerant. Great video. ❤️
I would be very interested to see the information that you base this on. Why does a body need gluten? Going gluten free doesn't improve health when you eat those highly processed gluten free products from the store. But I wonder what the human body needs gluten for? Do you have a reference?
the curious cat Not true at all. It is digestible just not for those who have celiac disease. It doesn’t completely digest as most foods do not. That’s not abnormal or bad for the gut. It’s healthy for the gut, unless you have celiac disease.
Another subset to this is that a lot of gluten free products have more added sugars - so unless they're necessary for your body, they aren't always better!
Pregnant during a pandemic and both our families live in another country so we will be all alone after are baby gets here. Looking at meal prep freezer friendly meals so I can make ahead during the calm before the storm haha. These are great ideas!
It's so refreshing to see a family snack prep with healthier ingredients and not just refined sugar and flour laden junk. And they're SMALL portions, which I'm really happy about.
It’s for kids, you shouldn’t be counting their calories or enforcing small portions.... (unless directed by a doctor). That’s how you give your kids issues with food & eating.
For those concerned about plastic I recommend using glass or plastic containers that you might already own or collect or silicon ( be carefully with the glass unless you’re storing in the fridge)
German meals are quite different but I like the efficiency with which you prepare the meals and there are things I will certainly apply to my meals. Thanks!
Fun fact, in meatballs the egg is the binder really. The breadcrumbs are there to keep moisture within the meatball.. Soo really the flour option you use is interesting But whatever works for you they do look great!
Great video! Thanks! A little tip, when using a cookie scoop, keep a glass of hot water nearby. When it gets hard to release, dip it in the water and it makes it easier!
You can get silicone baggies in different sizes. They wash up nice and work just as well as the disposable ones. It’s an initial expense but well worth it for saving on trash.
For the ice pops there are also reusable ice pops molds and popsicle molds. We have some in animal shapes that have feet for the holder. The kids love mixing them up.
Looking at the size of my freezer, I'll stick to weekly planning with minimal prep, but I absolutely applaud your efforts here. Some of these will still be good even longer than a month --- if they last that long!
Great video! A tip about the smoothies, bags of spinach can be put directly into the freezer without having to worry the leave will stick together. You can cut the other fruits and flash freeze in a bag before throwing each fruit into a bag so they don’t stick. They will help save on bags but adds slightly more time when making the smoothie.
Came across your channel (can’t recall what I was searching for lol) but loving your meal prep videos so far. I love how down to earth you are, like we could be friends/neighbours. Hello from Canada by the way. Keep showing the mishaps, they are honest and real life. Would love to see videos on freezer storage tips or Tetris configurations even for small freezers :) thank you, J.
I love the idea of using coconut flour to substitute for breadcrumbs. I've never heard of that before. But I'm definitely going to use that, I always love utilizing healthier swaps 👍
That's what I thought, too.. For the watermelon popsicles, there surely are reusable silicone or plastic forms, I have them to make orange-ice cream (aka freshly squeezed and then frozen orange juice 😉) for my two year old. I'll try it out with watermelon though, great idea.
You can do all those ideas with reusable containers, ice cube trays, popsicle sized ice cube trays... It hurts me to see so much plastic waste too, but its possible to do it waste free
This was an unexpected video that popped up in my feed, but I'm so glad it did. I seriously LOVED this video! Thank you for posting so many wonderful ideas! I am headed to the store to make quite a few of the meals you prepped, and I love the idea of prepping for meals and lunches in 2 week increments. Just the most inspiring video! I'm now a subscriber and I'm excited to see the other videos you have! Thank you from a fellow mama in the trenches!
Thank you for your videos ima be needing this motivation I'm 9weeks pregnant with 3rd child otw. Ima be tired and not willing to cook every single meal
You are killing it with these meal prep videos!! I always get so inspired. Do you have a blog or somewhere where you share all your recipes? Would love to be able to make them! Totally awesome!
What a great idea to put chocolate chips on top of the waffles before cooking instead of in the batter...definitely going to try this trick for more even distribution :)
Hi, I just wonder if you could tell me some of the sympthoms (idk how to write that word) on a coconut allergy? I am just curious since I have found very little on it on the web....thank you for answers :-)
Hillives I myself am not allergic to coconut exactly, but I find I get a terrible stomachache with bloating and almost some fever symptoms depending on how much I have
Hillives I’m allergic to couteloupe melon and get cough swollen tongue and throat itchy skin and runny nose. I have celiac disease that auto immune disease but also wheat tolerance then you get stomach pain vomiting diarrhea and those type of symptoms
I was totally inspired!! I made a video a few weeks ago with all kinds of kids snacks and I honestly in part was inspired by one of your videos a while back!! I needed the inspiration tonight though- thanks for going to all the work and posting it!
Just found you yesterday and I'm obsessed with your videos!!! Love the recipes you use too! I'm totally trying the corn dog one and broccoli too! Making them now!! LOL
These are fantastic ideas but pretty please can you think about swapping to reusable freezer bags/containers as all the single use bags are adding to the worlds pollutions. Also frozen spinach would help to be more cost effective for the smoothies as you get ridiculous amounts in one bag.
It's a really good video! I'm definitely going to implement some of these ideas. Just one note (I don't mean to upset anyone with this, it's just something I picked up) Kefir is pronounced Keh-fear, not Kee-fer
Wow, such dedication! I have three little ones so it is a necessity for me to meal plan as well. I love the tips provided in this video and thank you for sharing. You inspired me to do one of these kinds of videos on my own channel! All the best momma☺️!
Hey, that’s a great idea to prep for few days ahead. I have to do it as well! I am about to do broccoli and potatoes tots, have to try yours though 😅 Great Video! Thanks for the inspiration ❤️
Ugh I'm so jealous!! I have a fodmap intolerance so no fruit except berries (in small doses, except strawberries which I can have as many as I want!). And no cruciferous veggies among other things. Also I just have a mini fridge so I can't fit so much food. Still enjoying the vid!
Excited about the freezer pop bags. We have a large blended family and trying to find ways of having healthy but tasty snacks. Will also be trying the hot dog muffins. Thanks so much.
Very Good Video👍 You such a good mummy love your girls. Bake, cook healthy food. They are so fortunate. Save money too. Yummy food😋. I hardly bake. Only has a single shelf oven is a Tefal brand. All these baking need to Pre-heat? If yes then how many mins ahead before baking?🤔 Thanks 😊
I love these ideas and am planning a meal prep day, so this video was found at the perfect time! Would you be able to provide fresh recipe links? I'm really hoping to make the blender waffles, broccoli tots, and hotdog muffins!
Wait! So you all would cut it into 4 pieces, lengthwise...ending up with 4 long wedges. Then cut off the triangle piece (core)? Hmmm...I never thought of cutting like that. I guess I just cut up the pineapple like I do the apples. Peel, cut one side off parallel to the core, flip and do the same, then cut off the right and left side from the core. It kinda looks like this. ( || ) Cool to hear about a different perspective and idea on cutting. .
I see that mini waffle maker in so many CZcamsrs videos and wish I could get one. To buy one in Australia, the cheapest I've found is for $149!!!! (that includes shipping)
It’s a expensive initial investment, but maybe consider buying reusable bags like Stasher bags! They’re so dishwasher safe and would be perfect for your frozen smoothies! The amount spent on plastic bags in a year is still probably around the same price as several stasher bags! Better for your wallet and the planet!
First time watching you!!! I loved your video, I haven’t checked the rest if your videos yet, but I would love to see a homemade fruit leather- using the oven!
I have to admit, i eat like a child bc i have autism and my parents never taught me how to eat properly and your video gave me so many healthy ideas for myself and my future children thank u :) ♥️
You should search for a few quick and easy recipes bc it's always a good thing to be able to cook for yourself :)
She may be using a lot of plastic but look at the quality of food she’s feeding her family... when most of us buy processed...
YES, and how many freezer/ juice pops are sold at Wal-Mart every day ... Talk about plastic use lol. I do more reusable things personally, but more to save $ 🤣
Nowadays you can easily buy reusable bags :)
Great point
You can easily handwash and reuse those Ziploc bags. I pump in some soap and water, scrub, rinse, and air dry on my bottle drying rack.
Of course well feeding your family doesn't mean f*** up the planet. You can make both and stop b*** around.
If your watermelon is not that sweet make watermelon lemonade pops - just add your favorite lemonade
Your thumbnail intrigued me. I stayed for the whole video. I really liked your ideas - great job!!

Me too !! Also new sub 💛
Thumbnail got me too!
New Subscriber. The thumbnail got me too.
Same!
You should consider environmental friendly storage options, and you'll end up saving some money!!
When cooking with broccoli you can also use those small stems and even the big stem (you just have to peel the big stem with an knife). It adds nutrients, reduces food waste and tastes delicious! 😊
Yes!!! Even cauliflower
The big stem peeled my favorite part, raw dipped in dressing
They all look delicious 🙌🏻. For some viewers, just thought I would mention, unless you’re gluten intolerant your body needs gluten. Some have thought it is healthier to go gluten free everything but it’s not unless you’re gluten intolerant. Great video. ❤️
I would be very interested to see the information that you base this on. Why does a body need gluten? Going gluten free doesn't improve health when you eat those highly processed gluten free products from the store. But I wonder what the human body needs gluten for? Do you have a reference?
The body don't need gluten. Gluten is non digestible protein
the curious cat Not true at all.
D. Alice Den exactly. As well as more fats and sodium
Pregnant during a pandemic and both our families live in another country so we will be all alone after are baby gets here. Looking at meal prep freezer friendly meals so I can make ahead during the calm before the storm haha. These are great ideas!

These videos really help with my depression. 💗💗
I love your meal prep videos. I am a med student and this helps me prep out my calendar for school, work, and study time. Bless you.
German meals are quite different but I like the efficiency with which you prepare the meals and there are things I will certainly apply to my meals. Thanks!
Fun fact, in meatballs the egg is the binder really. The breadcrumbs are there to keep moisture within the meatball..
Soo really the flour option you use is interesting
But whatever works for you they do look great!
I was thinking the same thing lol
We use crushed pork rinds and it's fantastic!!!
Great video! Thanks! A little tip, when using a cookie scoop, keep a glass of hot water nearby. When it gets hard to release, dip it in the water and it makes it easier!
LPT: if your kid is like eeewww green, tell them it’s a shrek smoothie. 😂
I did the same thing the first time. 😂 It's a "monster smoothie" kids! They totally were like, "Oh yeah! Monster smoothie!!"
I just snorted out loud
The tots look great! but for me it sucks, because it's a lot of work for that small batch that my boys would crush in one sitting 🤣
Your videos are keeping me busy in quarantine when I don’t have school (I’m 10) I love your vids so much 🙌🏽
You can get silicone baggies in different sizes. They wash up nice and work just as well as the disposable ones. It’s an initial expense but well worth it for saving on trash.
I just wash the plastic and when I’m done, they go in the soft plastic recycling (RedCycle through Coles and Woolworths in Australia).
For the ice pops there are also reusable ice pops molds and popsicle molds. We have some in animal shapes that have feet for the holder. The kids love mixing them up.
I've watched alot of preppers but, not one that concentrates on their children's needs. Keep making your videos, your an awesome mom! ❤️
Looking at the size of my freezer, I'll stick to weekly planning with minimal prep, but I absolutely applaud your efforts here. Some of these will still be good even longer than a month --- if they last that long!

Your hair; eyes and skin are glowing! No wonder from all the beautiful cooking you do
I couldn't imagine making that many waffles at a time with that tiny waffle iron. But definitely can't beat the price
The watermelon pops look so good. I love the idea of making the broccoli tots and the corndog muffins. I love these videos ❤️
You inspire me to COOK! I love your videos that show your recipes. Your girls are so lucky to have you! :)
I love the idea of using coconut flour to substitute for breadcrumbs. I've never heard of that before. But I'm definitely going to use that, I always love utilizing healthier swaps 👍
Good ideas, but so much plastic use, is anything reusable
That’s what thought throughout the whole video :/
That's what I thought, too..
For the watermelon popsicles, there surely are reusable silicone or plastic forms, I have them to make orange-ice cream (aka freshly squeezed and then frozen orange juice 😉) for my two year old.
I'll try it out with watermelon though, great idea.
You could probably use glass storage jars or boxes. The plastic bags she uses for the smoothies could probably be cleaned and reused 🤷🏼♀️
I hav3 the same popsicle bags and we just rinse them out and reuse them I don't know why they dont
I make the same smoothie and I like to add limes, cucumbers, and celery! It’s so good!
Yes yes yes! You did a fabulous job sis!! Awesome planning and menu!!! Stay strong
I like your broccoli tots idea (even though I'm too lazy to ever make them).
I make that green smoothie all the time. I add lemon juice to mine. Try it! It really adds a beautiful brightness to the smoothie
Your such a good momma!❤️
What a great idea to put chocolate chips on top of the waffles before cooking instead of in the batter...definitely going to try this trick for more even distribution :)
The tip about the coconut flour is great! I've bought some last week and honestly didn't know what to do with it till watch your video. 👏
Oh great!! I’m glad I could help you out!
You can use the broccoli stems, especially in something like tots! The texture is not noticeable, and less food waste
I’ve just found my dream channel😂 love your videos so much 🙌🏻
Zucchini would be a good summer substitute for the broccoli
Worth watching just like me a mom who need all those prepared meals you have done. Thumbs up. You are a great mom as well and very organized. Xoxo
I think you do great to use more reusable containers, especially with freezer storage, less plastic waste and more convenience.
Thank you for saying that you could use bread crumbs it helps me I'm allergic to coconut and oatmeal 😁
Hi, I just wonder if you could tell me some of the sympthoms (idk how to write that word) on a coconut allergy? I am just curious since I have found very little on it on the web....thank you for answers :-)

Wow, you're so organized and a hard working mom . Loved your ideas. Am always looking for new ideas to feed my 2 healthy, quick meals
Thank you so much for this! Every meal prep video I see is vegan, great to see some good options

There is a more sustainable option for your frozen pops there silicon and you can find them on amazon
Ty
I actually reuse these ones. Never thought they are to throw away 😅
I learned that meatballs open because of the air. Ome trick is throw the meatball one hand to another and make them tighter
You've got a lot of great ideas, thanks for sharing!
Wow, such dedication! I have three little ones so it is a necessity for me to meal plan as well. I love the tips provided in this video and thank you for sharing. You inspired me to do one of these kinds of videos on my own channel! All the best momma☺️!
You can do the broccoli sticks with chickpeas instead of eggs to make them vegan and even more yummy!
Thanks for the video. God loves you and your family. God bless.
That simply delish instant pudding is so yummy in homemade yogurt !! I love your meal planning videos!!
Will definitely be using some of these for my own meal prep!

Looking forward to trying some of your recipes! Some delicious looking recipes that I don't need to change the ingredients for my family! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Excited about the freezer pop bags. We have a large blended family and trying to find ways of having healthy but tasty snacks. Will also be trying the hot dog muffins. Thanks so much.

I love these ideas and am planning a meal prep day, so this video was found at the perfect time! Would you be able to provide fresh recipe links? I'm really hoping to make the blender waffles, broccoli tots, and hotdog muffins!
The way you cored that pineapple blew my mind. Why have I been quartering it for so long?? 🤣
I thought the same thing!!
Wait! So you all would cut it into 4 pieces, lengthwise...ending up with 4 long wedges. Then cut off the triangle piece (core)?
Hmmm...I never thought of cutting like that. I guess I just cut up the pineapple like I do the apples.

I see that mini waffle maker in so many CZcamsrs videos and wish I could get one. To buy one in Australia, the cheapest I've found is for $149!!!! (that includes shipping)
Have you tried kmart? I have seen them for around $30.
What?! Its a dash mini waffle maker and they are like $10 @ target
DESIREE DUNCAN not in Australia!! I even saw it on amazon for $213!!
@@mary.k74 dang that sucks!

So glad I found your videos! Loving your recipes. Cant wait to try them!
This was a good video, I don't use eggs so I will have to change up some of the ingredients. But I will definitely subscribe.
First time watching you!!! I loved your video, I haven’t checked the rest if your videos yet, but I would love to see a homemade fruit leather- using the oven!
These meal preps looks so delicious, love the video ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
There's so much single use plastic! I love these ideas but please look into some reusable options.
My thoughts exactly. Great ideas, healthy for people, not healthy for the environment.
Freezing yoghurt destroys healthy bacteria unfortunately. Some great ideas thanks
Love watching your videos, I just wish I had the energy you have 🙈
This is fab. Think I need a bigger freezer though ha ha. Thank you for the ideas
