this is one of the best gluto sets i’ve ever seen. the fact that he took the set so convincingly against TWEEK of all players is a testament to how incredible he is
Also the fact that he was mentally drained from his set against Sonix and immediately went on to play this set is crazy. It's like he used all of his frustration on Tweek
No disrespect to gluto but tweek has mentioned in his podcast that he recently has been suffering from tendonitis on his hands and has been taking medication for that. It didn't seem to be that bad during GOML, but it looks like tweek is literally in pain during this match

Tendinitis isn't that bad, some ppl get it and they don't even realize it. I'd wager a good majority of top players im FG have it. It's like overworking any muscle or joint, your body will tell you to chill after awhile.

Tbf gluto also has tendinitis. Now being serious gluto has been giving him some advice with that and they have being sharing interesting thoughts about the game. I'm sure tweek will bounce back pretty strong once he manages to get through this without forgetting about practice

This went so differently from that promotional ditto they had way back when Tweek mained Wario too. Gluto has absolutely locked down this character as the best pilot for it!

EDIT: Tweek Talks just came out. Tragically, eating a ton of excellent Mexican food triggered a Crohn's Disease flare-up. The cheese was simply too delicious.

Glu used to a year or two ago, but he found what movements caused it and it got much better I believe.

it’s really unfortunate the commentators don’t seem to know about tweek’s hand issues, because now a good bit of viewers are gonna walk away from the set thinking tweek was mad when he was actually just dealing with hand pain. you can’t necessarily blame them since you’d have to follow the podcast or his streams to really hear about it, but unfortunate none-the-less. :/

Dude most long time smash or FG players have tendinitis, even casual players. It's a common ailment, most of us just push through it. You have to go out of your way to get severe tendinitis though, Tweek obviously hasn't been taking care the very easy to deal with issue, so thats his fault entirely. Tendinitis is the result of you not taking a break tbh. Plus he's getting older so I hope he starts taking his health more seriously.
Tweek shoulda played sephiroth
I don't think he used him at all at smash factor, which is sad, but I could be wrong. I wish he played him more in bracket! Diddy might be his best character, but on some days, his Seph cooks even more.
Hope tweek takes a decent break. Still a great performance nonetheless.

@@jaydenhohman2590 I’d imagine logically that whatever he was trying to help with his pain completely wore off by the time of that set but let’s say that I’m wrong and he just tried to fight his condition head on without any plan to help nullify the pain. That still doesn’t change the fact that Minimelt was just showing empathy and never said Tweek would have won despite his condition. So there is no partially being right, the classward person was just being an insensitive prick who just jumped to something that was never said nor implied. Especially since the condition isn’t just something that would just go away in time for the next event.

@@andrebaxter4023 Hey andre! I'm not so sure about that... Last week he reverse 3-0d Dabuz with Seph after losing 2 games with Diddy. He also won other sets with him and gave a shoutout to Seph in his podcast because he went further into the braket because of Seph. Tweek is really hard to follow sometimes . Like why pull out a Wario that's not ready when you didn't even try your second main yet.
I personally don't like playing sephiroth against Wario. Sephiroth likes to camp/play defensive until he finds an opening, and try to ledge trap his opponent. Wario can just run from sephiroth with his high air speed, and since seph has bad approach options it's very hard for sephiroth to land hits

@@weso7709 you also have to realize that tendonitis isn’t just acquired instantly. It develops overtime, if not treated properly it could have been worse. He’s working forward to taking care of it.
