  • Is it possible to carve a usable spoon in 10 Minutes with a Victorinox Swiss Army Knife?
    In this video i show you a special technique how to carve the concave side of a spoon with the small blade and the can opener. At the end i laser my name with a PET bottle.

    I've carved hundreds of spoons, used to sell them through an art gallery even. I was a teensy bit disapproving as I've never drawn out the spoon on the blank but then using the bottle to burn his name in....GENIUS!! Great work!

    I just got my Victorinox Swiss Army Knife Whittling Book (43 easy projects) today. It’s very good. When my grandson is old enough, I will teach him to carve with the ideas in it.

    Burning your name in using the water bottle was the best trick yet ! I’ve seen people get a ember on charred cloth with a water bottle, but never thought about using it for writing (if the sun is bright and hot enough). Water can become a real emergency survival tool. You could use it to burn (cut through) cordage, start fires, and even write messages !!! And of course drink it.

      I have a Swisschamp and an Explorer that come with a magnifying glass. I wonder if the magnifying glass can be used for the water bottle.
