Only 3 episodes and I've been hooked since the first. The wait times between episodes leave me empty, like waiting for Netflix or Disney to release their new episodes for new series! Aaaahhh

i was just looking for beginner guides for my first time playing FS 22 and now im 3 episode deep into this and loving this content and your community! super interesting and will for sure be watching the series through. Makes me wish there was a farming game more dedicated to this kind of style of play and slowly expanding town of other players setting up business's and contracts

Man I know I’m late just discovered you And am hooked!!, Picking up that baler Reminds me of my grandfather with his 1953 farmall Super H 😂😂😂 When it had a front loader He picked up a Volkswagen Jetta by putting steel beams through the windows and chains cause it was in his way and wasn’t running and had no wheels, Never thought I’d see something similar, how he counter balanced it was a Trailer filled with Firewood and Oak logs, that poor trailer Is no longer around but that farmall Still running strong and he is looking too get A new loader for it, looking forward too binge watching this series, and will definitely be checking out more channel content 😂😂

Never tried the whole survival farming before. But your episodes got me started on diffrent style of game play. Have to say it's fun. Keep up the great episodes.

I say remove the rocks charge a "demolition" fee as in real life you could actually have them removed. And I absolutely agree you have to keep it fun! Waiting for auto load log trailer!!!!!

That ain’t the craziest thing I’ve seen on the farm, I’ve worked on several and run my own, I’d say using my backhoe to pick up my tractor after it got stuck axle deep is the best I’ve done lol

Here is my role play business idea: The name of the business is Chuck's Wholesale Seed and Supply. Chuck is a distributer of seed, solid or liquid fertilizer, lime, pesticides and other bagged material. His warehouse sells these materials at HALF the price of his competitors (NORMAL IN-GAME PRICE). The catch is that you must buy full truckloads of any combination of materials you need to make the trip to his warehouse location worth it. (22 tons by weight or full pallet loads on a tractor trailer). He has his own forklift for transferring materials from his racks/trailers to your trailer, but he will not hold material that you can't pick up in one trip. He is a business man after all and time wasted waiting for you to make multiple trips and space in his racks is money lost. He's a reasonable and generous man, but there are no exceptions to get his steep wholesale discounts.
Had me rolling the last couple minutes of the video with that load...🤣

FC, love the series. If you are on the fence about the silage because it can be so lucrative, you could always limit yourself to one harvest per in game year. Since I believe grass can be cut/regrows 2-3 times per game year, limiting yourself to just harvesting it once will keep it from being too op. Also could add to the realism. Most farmers, at least in the mid-west where I live, only cut their hay fields once per year.
I remember, when I was younger, I was able to go to the woods and lift heavy tree trunks onto my shoulder and carry them to the fir pit. These logs were probably 8 feet long.
A severe knee injury and almost ten years later, I doubt I'd be able to do so.

I think you should keep the rocks and get the new tera forming mod and dig them out and sell the gravel.

I'd plant some trees for future logging. Planter is cheap, saplings are cheap. I think it's worth investing. Especialy in place you won't farm land.

Silage was my go to in fs 19 loved just doing the bales and wrapping them. Sure do miss my big autoload trailer

You should add another small ranch and make it a selling point. Maybe turn it into a contract. I just started a new game where I am not allowing for bank loans and I only raise livestock. So all of the feed I have comes from doing contracts for others farmers. I get the money from harvesting and a small percent of the yield.
For a production company you could use the lime crusher mod and make lime with rocks and turn it off for an income in sell mode, also you buy a mower and a Tedder and run the Tedder behind the mower to make hay unless you don't need to do that in fs22
If it is in FS22, lease the Kuhn round baler with the attached wrapper.

But a front mower on your tractor and put the bailer on the back so you can do both at once. Then you can save money by not having to buy two mowers or a windrower

Ignore these folk that say silage is "cheaty". They probably think using anything more technical than two oxen strapped to a plank with an Anglo Saxon hanging off the end is "cheaty"!

I havent tried it yet but I can to see, the update should allow for it now :)
@@FarmerCop yeah, tried it yesterday and the shop next to the blue container full of oil is where you can sell them now.

With silage I feel there is a lot of work. Not only are you mowing it down, windrowing, either bailing or collecting to a silo, fermentation. All that work to me means it better earn some cash...how is this cheaty....?

Enjoying the series so far but i have a question. How were you able to sell to a farm owned building and get instantly paid like at 17:35 as if it were map owned? I tried setting up a business farm and my farm, also tried making my farm a contractor but that didn't allow me to sell it and the one time i could sell it, it just went into the buffer of the building and I didn't get paid for the load
So it wasnt farm owned, i play in multiplayer and have sell points owned by other farms on the server. But even if it is farm owned you should be able to sell to it if it is a sell point
@@FarmerCop ah, I'm assuming factories don't do that them? I'm in multi-player aswell mine just seems to place what I "sell" into the buildings to be processed and not pay me when I'm set as a contractor to the "town" farm or not allow me to sell at all when I'm not a contractor. So did you have to get modded sell points instead of the default factory buildings?

I don't know how people consider certain things cheaty. Like, you're here on survival, yeah It's not real. But I know if I was here in the middle of nowhere with a crap tonne of grass I'd certainly mow it for silage and make some cash. How is it cheaty? :P

How are you able to increase your 'flight' speed while using that mod? Mine is extremely slow.

Would it be possible for you to up the Bitrate of your recordings? I really enjoy watching your stuff but your artifacting is so insane when you move through the grass.

@@FarmerCop I assume you use OBS. So OBS settings -> output ->recording tab-> (Video) Bitrate. I think yours will be like... 2500-3500 atm so maybe try 6000-10000 that should help a lot.

I dont understand the comment you made about people saying chickens and silage are cheaty...both are part of base-game mechanics. good business decision to make your virtual farm some quick money to expand
people are always going to say whatever the highest money making thing to do is cheaty if there is a significant difference in the amount of money that can be earned. I remember silage being really cheaty in the old games too. Overall though I don't really fault anyone for how they want to play this type of game. I just don't like when mods add in something that is OP....like in 19 the StrawMe mod. You could make significantly more money off of selling straw from the crops it added straw on to than you could base game straw. That seems incredibly wrong. If it is supposed to be just plain straw then it should be the same price

just had a question Fc why didnt u buy the landini tractor ik it doesnt have the power to run the mulcher but that tractor can easily do alot of stuff and costs only 39k
