Serious Note about the Art Fight Controversy: In summary despite it being very vague, the leader of the website is stepping down while the two main moderators who have been operating the site will now take charge. Knowing that the leader basically took the money, and ran, let alone left the moderators to do most of the work without her doing much of anything...this is the best move. Plus, I know the moderators did a damn good job trying their best with what little they have to keep this site functional even with way over 200k members...and counting.
I can't help but wonder what happened as there was so many members last year, but this year it's like they were cut in half. Perhaps the mods got rid of the awful members or hardly many participated/ couldn't for the time being...but that's the least of my concerns. That being said, Lestat and I will be going into Art Fight next year not just cause we love brightening up someone's day drawing their OCs, but because we are curious how the new leaders will do. If all goes well, we will continue for many more years to come until then only time will tell and we will know how it's going by participating next year.
