This is the second time the Beesleys refused to get red beans and rice from Popeye's and they still wonder why their sides sucked.
There is no such thing as a "Chicken Burger", despite what Brits might think. They're "Chicken Sandwiches".
To me “chicken burger” sounds similar to “turkey burger”…like it should be a beef substitute. I would find “chicken burger” acceptable if it was ground chicken prepared in the same manner as a hamburger.

In the US, many restaurants will hollow out potato skins and then stuff them [bacon, cheese, bell peppers, green onions, etc.] and bake them to serve as appetizers.

That cost for a fishing license is HIGHWAY ROBBERY. In my state, the cost for a 1 year license is $21 for a state resident. A combined Hunting/Fishing license is $38 for a resident. A property owner fishing from his/her own property does NOT need a license. If you're lucky enough to live next to a lake or stream, you can fish for free.
I got my lifetime hunt/fish for free in OK.
And a child under 12 is free in my state as long as they’re with a licensed adult.
Going to Popeyes and not getting red beans and rice as a side is almost sacrilegious. Its their best side by far.
YES, for God's sake, use salsas and sauces for BBQ, Mexican, and Cajun foods. They are intended to be eaten that way

Don’t want to break your heart but a annual combo fishing/shellfish license for a Washington state resident is $55 dollars which is good because I love fishing and shellfish hunting without breaking the bank! ❤
Popeyes is based on a Cajun place from Louisiana, and they do fried shrimp. Your choice for everything is mild or spicy. Spicy is the original. Although the rest of the world seems to think everywhere does mac n cheese, Popeyes probably added it to compete with other fast-food places that were doing the same thing. Original sides, besides mashed potatoes and gravy was probably Cole slaw and green beans. Most fried chicken places also offer fried okra.
They have the tendency to call things burgers, so that confuses viewers. You cannot get a hamburger at Popeyes.
Years ago, when I was a kid, they had dirty rice as a side, and it was very good. I haven't been to Popeyes in 10 years or more . I don't know if they still sell it or not.

WOW, 400 euros for fishing license, here in Louisiana Hunting license is $12 to $25 and Fishing is $5 for freshwater and $15 for salt water(in the Gulf of Mexico). If you came to visit it would cost you $100 for non-resident and Garen being under 17 years old would be free for the year.
I believe the difference of Popeyes vs KFC is Popeyes uses Southern/Cajun spices. We had them reserve a turkey, which they offer on holidays, for our Thanksgiving dinner, and it had a spicy flavor.
That’s crazy for a fishing license. In Louisiana you can go into any Walmart or bait shop and get a saltwater license for $32, or a freshwater license for $15.
If you’re a legal Florida resident you get a free saltwater fishing license every year. I have one now.
My nephew has always loved fishing so much, he got a degree to work for Fish and Wildlife, so he works with fish all day, then often goes fishing in his time off.
Scramble the eggs, soak the bread on both sides to soak in the eggs. Then fry it on both sides to make french toast.

Generally speaking. All burgers are considered sandwiches but all sandwiches are not considered burgers. A burger to actually be a " Burger" must contain a beef patty. If you serve a beef patty on regular sandwich bread it's still called a burger. But chicken, fish or any other meat on sandwich bread and even on a burger bun is only considered a sandwich. You'll notice this on most American restaurant menus. Anything on bread other than beef is called a sandwich.
You almost had it right. Ground protein (even veggie based) made into a patty is a burger. Turkey burger, veggie burger, I had a pork sausage burger this morning for breakfast.
I had a pork sausage brat on a hotdog style bun for breakfast a few days ago. The difference? One was made into a patty and put on a bun, while the other was a long, tasty cheddar filled delight put on a bun. Guess which one was which?

There are no chicken burgers on the menu at Popeye's, KFC, Chic-Fil-A, or any other fast food place that sells chicken in America for that matter. Somewhere along the way English speaking nations took our American word and transferred it to anything with a round bun, even fish sandwiches. I promise you ordering a fish burger in America will get you some odd stares at the very least.
We had hamburgers before hamburger buns were invented, Brits weren’t familiar with them until afterwards they parsed the distinction between burgers and other sandwiches “wrong”.
Kat- Every fast food restaurant that offers chicken sandwiches has a deluxe version you can get which has "salad" (typically lettuce, tomato & pickle). Sometimes they also have cheese and are on a different kind of bun like whole wheat or something else too. They cost a little more but are a good option if you like the veggies.
The reason why our beverages are so large is most people like to fill it 2/3rd with ice. Drink the drink than chew the ice, keeps you cool!
Greetings from Texas. Congratulations to Garon for his PB " Roach?" ( If that's how you say the name of that fish. ) . I have to say that I'm baffled by almost every single British CZcamsr who comes to America and tries different restaurants and foods for the first time. I don't understand where this fascination with combining different foods together, like dipping the fries into the Mashed potatoes, or dipping hamburgers into salad dressings. Of course there are several American foods that come with dipping sauces like chicken nuggets, egg rolls, ( actually not Chinese but invented in California by an Asian American. ), chicken wings and a few others. And of course there is the odd American who might try combining different foods together hoping to stumble upon a great combination. But it's really not that widespread of a thing here in America. I believe it's part of one of those mis-guided myths Europeans have invented that they attribute to America. Maybe they saw one or two Americans doing so and just assumed that it was a regular thing here. It's not. But, to each his own.
I beg to differ. I'm 60 years old and have 'mixed' all sorts of foods together. veggies in my mashed potatoes. Dipping chicken into everything, bbq sauce, mashed taters, white gravy, etc. My hamburgers have (US) chips or fries and I often dip them into ranch dressing. I also mix fountain drinks like rootbeer and strawberry or orange.

Popeyes is spicier/hotter than most chicken places.
If that tea wasn't sweet to him that Popeyes failed, their sweet tea is extremely sweet even to people in the states and they'll sale it in a 2 gallon bag/container.

When McDonalds first started they fried the chips in the animal fats available… they were outstanding! The ones cooked in plant oils are just okay.

That is expensive. I can get a yearly fishing license in Montana for $40.00 and an out of state license in North Dakota for a married couple for $50.00 yearly. Popeyes is awesome. You get the spicy chicken strips and dip them in the mashed potatoes and gravy

I am just as bad with bug bites. My method has always been to put a spoon into hot water then put it onto the bug bite. It doesn't/shouldn't burn you but it is hot. The hot metal will kill the bacteria causing the inflammation.

I like Popeye's chicken. Growing up in Texas, we usually like our coffee hot (and strong), and our tea cold and sweet. Of course, with the invasion of Starbucks, cold coffee has become a thing (an expensive thing). When you come over here, be sure to try Whataburger. It's definitely my favorite when it comes to hamburgers.

It's a chicken sandwich. You can add lettuce. We call it lettuce and tomato, not salad. The chicken at Popeyes is very good. You can have mild or spicy. There are ghost pepper wings. You can get popcorn shrimp. The fries are seasoned (not spicy). They are so good. I don't eat the Mac n cheese. I can't have dairy. The mash potatoes are OK. I like the Cole slaw. The Cajun rice is good. I like the corn the cob. The chicken strips are good. Popeyes is my favorite chicken fast food place. KFC used to be good 20 years ago. Now it sucks. Texas fried chicken is good too. Their burgers 🍔 😋 ❤ are delicious. You can request anything on sandwiches and burgers, here in the USA. You can also request to have an ingredient removed or replaced. You are the paying customer; therefore, you asks for what you want. Another thing is that nobody eats the biscuit plain. You can request butter and/or jelly (jam), or honey. It's dry, so it would be better not to eat it, on its own. Still, I'm glad they enjoyed their meal. 😊

Here in Florida there are many licenses. We even have lifetime fishing licenses. One for saltwater and another one for fresh. Plus there is a lifetime hunting license as well. And then there is a golden lifetime license for all fishing and hunting plus some other activities. The golden lifetime license starts a about $400 for kids ages 1 to 4, and after that prices go up by ages brackets. The price is a one time fee and the lifetime license never expires even it you move to some other state. Once you return to Florida to live, the license is still valid. Lifetime licenses can be added to your Florida driver's license so that you do not need to carry every license on you while fishing or hunting. On the front of the Florida license it will show a symbol of which lifetime license you have.
When I have kids, I will get them a lifetime license so that they can always fish or hunt legally.
We don't have Chicken Burgers in America (We have Chicken Sandwiches tho) So I'm not sure where they got those chicken burgers from! lmao
3:00 Here's a tip. If they ask you if you want a "medium" then the answer it "no, just the regular" . If they ask about the medium, that usually means the small is the regular size. But you don't want to order a "small" drink because there are still a few places that have small size that is for kids. So always say regular size is fine to avoid confusion.

17:30 If you like Prawns, you will need to know the difference when you come America. In America we have a distinction between the Prawn and the Shrimp. I don't think the Brits really understand. So the Prawn is the larger type that are found in the fresh water and the Shrimp are the smaller variety that are salt water dwellers.
The first one was just the regular chicken sandwich the second one was the “spicy “ chicken sandwich… the spicy one isn’t really that hot but has a small amount of heat.

My breading for Fried Fish is seasoned corn meal. Never used anything else.
My fishing license was $25 with the trout stamp and I just renew it online.
Popeye's also has proper biscuits & gravy too. Not the best but pretty good.

I want to share a little something with you here in the United States. We are experiencing a Vass very very large. Absent of employees for companies due to the social media. There are a lot of CZcamsrs a lot of Instagram or which are making money that way and they don’t have the workers to work in the stores or other establishments. We just had 30 hooters. It’s a chicken wing place close the doors overnight because they couldn’t have people to work inside. Everybody’s doing to go orders online so there is a lot of work over here.

The best side at Popeyes is red beans and rice. The mac and cheese sucks. The biscuits tastebgood ,but they're too dense and dry. The chicken is the best out of all the chains.
The mashed potatoes are meh. Frues are good, but wish they were more like Checkers and Rallys on the crisp level.

I like vinegar...but not on fish/chips. I use it in some homemade sauces to raise the acidity. Same for some marinades when lemon isn't on hand. I like it in some hot causes as well, but not most of them. Just depends.
Malt vinegar is different, and any person with a working brain would only use it on Brit style fish and chips.
It annoys me every time he calls it a "chicken burger" and "fries" chips... So annoying... But I love their channel but yours is much better ,,, to my opinion..
