Artist is an advanced class of the sub class, Specialist. She is a support class. I will try and get an endgame compilation of her by end of this week or next! PvP footage to come soon too.

This is the kinda stuff people want to see. A sample of it all with no talking or music. Thank you for this! Also, can't wait for her to come to US... I'm a support player in all my games and Pally and Bard just didn't do it for me.

@@PowderedToastMaaaan simply put artist is pretty similar to bard just slightly more dps and the teleport which is nice for very endgame raids but thats about it if you didn't enjoy neither bard or paladin artist wont fix that at all, maybe you just dont like the way support plays in this game

@@augury883 I don't think this is true. Maybe he or she doesn't like the theme and setting of the classes. Artist looks definetely unique.

She has a lot of variety in her kit of habilities, i think you can build her like a dps or support, amazing, i main her when arrives in the game.
Yeah some people already built her as a damage dealer on the KR server... and its actually legit. Very interesting

@@SY-qv3kr probably, considering that some of her skill tripods have HUGE dps boosts, but other ones (I think 1st tripod actually) has some shielding capabilities. plus either way, you have heal orbs, and you can always invest 1-2 skills in shielding while the rest in DPS
@@SY-qv3kr After these past month seeing how some of the KR players use her she is for sure adaptable in a sense that you can go pure healer/damage or mix and still be viabale

@@vaffel11 we are still missing some of the already in game classes, so I don't think she will come to EU this year.

Can imagine EU/NA lost ark version putting this class off as long as possible if not permanently. You should know how anti loli western culture is by now and with how mainstream the game is in the west I doubt it's gonna happen unless they hard censor everyone of her armors and skins

I have never seen a class well made like this in my entire MMO experience... the concept idea, design, animation and character personally and look are perfection.

If only the game wasn't pay to win and the company(ies) (Smilegate/Amazon Games) weren't making the experience terrible this game would have been a 9 or even 10 out of 10 to me.

Right now Artists are considered less reliable supports, harder to apply shields and heals need to be picked up by players. more involved supports

But mechanically they still feel a lot like Bard's, and I still love how Bard's abilities look and sound like more than hers overall (at least from this video).
But I will definitely give her a try once she's released along with Destroyer.

yep I'm to make her one of my main 6 characters. her accessories are soooo expensive rn on KR server i have to wait a bit

There is a lot of long ranged areas, and the portal is gona be dope.
@@EndieM8 yo might be a stupid question but im still very new to lost ark. Are the accessories class specific or could lets say already invest in the needed accessories for Artist in EU relatively cheap and once she gets released use them on Artist?
No clue if accessories are character bound or class bound and if there are even BiS accessories for her available in EU
Honestly she's a lot harder to play than the other supports but she's so flashy that it's worth. I definitely need to be decent at Bard first before she releases.
I wish they did more with the drawing animals to life trope. It seems like only a handful of abilities do that.
She might be my main…. I have a love affair with Blade and Sorceress and Artist seems like a weird combo of the two.
I play those two classes also and thought the exact same thing! Seems a bit bard like but with more DPS/AoE maybe! can't wait for this eventually in EU..

I remember some awesome skills in a old mmorpg called Holy Beast, I used to play alot when I was a kid. Since then I haven't played any more mmorpgs.

Powerbind-
Illusionist's continuous wide range spell that creates a barrier around yourself, which makes enemies in range move and attack slower. Buff lasts ~240 seconds
Enemy Movement Speed: -0.80 Enemy Attack Speed: -0.80
Evilbind-
Illusionist's wide range Dark magic spell that creates a barrier around youself, which deals continuous damage to all enemies who are near you. Damage is dealt every 5 seconds. Buff lasts ~180 seconds
Soulflame-
Illusionist's infectious flame spell. The target enemy becomes "Infectious" for 30 seconds. Any enemy near the Infectious when it infects, becomes "Infected" for 7 seconds. The Infectious infects every 6 seconds. The Infectious takes (~350 Dark Damage?), while the Infected are dealt Damage over Time, every 2 seconds. In addition, both Infectious and Infected monsters are slowed.
Healer
Life Spring-
Healer's wide range continuous healing spell that creates a barrier around yourself and heals allies who are near you.
Own Status: Life Spring Barrier. Recovers 2,400 HP every 2 seconds. Buff lasts ~120 seconds
Damn this looks a bit broken. 30% healing, DMG buffs, ... And all those AoE skills. Seems like Paladin (holy knight) just got outclassed.
Too many slow/channeling moves for my taste, but probably cool to have in the party.
People say she's supposed to be same race as Shandi but that's bs, looks nothing alike.
She can heals!!!!!!! take my money LOL
Spell animations FX: 10/10
Awkward Asian casting moans: 0/10
Her healing requiring players to press 'G' to heal: 0/10
Yeah the manual healing and having to aim your shields at players is a big turn off to kr players Rn

So, we will have 4 mainly female classes (assassin, martial artist, mage and specialist) and 2 mainly male (warrior and gunner)? I get why people complain about gender locked classes xD

I hated mystic from Tera bcs of the orb drops, and they imitated that here which I am not a fan of. Waste of good looking skill effects.
shes def not as straight forward as the other supports. I think its interesting gameplay, maybe ive been playing for too long I just find new mechs really interesting
I mained mystic in Tera and people rly hated the orbs eventho they just had to press f. The classes got reworked a bit a while back and now mystic can burst the orbs themselves to do super amounts of damage but Tera is such a bad game at this point, it's too late T-T
