- Possibly the largest markets in Bali are the Kreneng night markets in Denpasar. An huge food court with endless local delicacies supported by hundreds or thousands of stalls selling everything from t-shirts to shoes and so much more.
Today we try the local Babi Guling or Spit-roasted pig. It is presented in several ways and it is a "complete nose-to-tail" concept so if you don't like eating "offcuts" but want an incredible experience, DONT ASK WHAT IT IS!!
Kreneng Markets is in the middle of Denpasar and is probably less than $15 from most hotels in Kuta/seminyak/canggu/sanur. It is Definitely worth a visit.
Love the babi gugling, always washed down with a cold bintang, good stuff Murray
You and Spicy food bro, definitely have to catch up for a Binny and a feed when I get over later on.
Oh food, food, glorious food. I generally gain 3-4 kilos on my Bali holidays. Life is too short😀Rodney
Notice not wearing gold chain 👍

Hi grace, yes they're open every night🙂
always wanted to try some of the street food and go to the markets that been fearful of getting sick but after watching your videos I'm just going to have to take the risk and take your advice on having alcohol with every meal to kill the bugs 😂
Not an issue if the place is busy 🙂
what days do they have the markets on and is it far from Kuta?
7 nights a week, about 30 mins from kuta
Murray can you please explain to us what that drink is next to you? The Temulawak one in the green bottle? I always have one with my Babi Guling but ive never known what it is.TIA
Beside the temulawak drink is sirsak drink or soursop drink from local homemade or factory. cheers
Why no beer😩
I ate that shit 7 years ago. Ended up back in Ozz 6 weeks later and a 3 hour operation to remove a parasitic cyst from my liver
My husband absolutely hate cucumber and can't even eat anything that a piece of cucumber has touched the food. I've got to make sure that when I order food to specify no cucumber!!!!!!!!
The broken wrist doesn’t look so bad.
Filmed before the accident

Hey Muzza, do you ever get sick? My guts are bloody ridiculous - are you just used to the warung food now? Honestly every time I go no matter what I eat/drink, I end up taking one poop stop a day - the other half has no problem, he can eat whatever he likes
