On this channel you will immerse yourself in Spanish and be surrounded by authentic language.
Research shows that Comprehensible Input (exposure to comprehensible content) is the most effective way to learn a language.
With Comprehensible Input, we learn the reality of the language by experiencing it. When we listen to interesting and comprehensible stories, our attention is focused on the message rather than on theory and grammar.
With drawings, gestures and repetition, the stories will be understandable to you. As you listen to Spanish that you understand, you gradually become accustomed to the language and create a mental map of it.
With Comprehensible Input, you will develop a "feel" for the language in terms of grammar and vocabulary, characteristic of native speakers.
What does this mean in practice? You will know how to say something, but you won't necessarily know the grammatical rule behind it.
IMPORTANT!
You don't need to understand every single word. The most important thing is to understand the context and the main message.
Let the story draw you in!

Soy sevillano y les puedo decir que el tema de los horarios en España no tiene ni pies ni cabeza. Las horas de más calor no son las dos de la tarde, son entre las 17 y 19 horas, justo la hora en que se vuelve a trabajar. Sería más sensato empezar en verano a trabajar a las siete de la mañana y sin parar hasta las 15:00. Horario intensivo y luego a descansar y hasta el día siguiente. En cuanto al tuteo, diría que ciertamente está muy extendido, pero yo que tengo más de 50 años me molesta que un joven que no me conoce me tutee. Me siento incómodo y me resulta agresivo cuando el camarero me suelta: Oye, ¿qué te pongo?

I have been learning Spanish for just over 2 months now and I understood about 40-60% of this conversation without subtitles, but needed to have them for the rest.
I find it hard not to say 'gracias' o 'por favor' when asking for and receiving things in Spain, as I'm from the UK and like María said, we say thank you & please, all the time.

Estoy totalmente de acuerdo con lo comentado. A mí también me chocaron estas cosas al principio. En trato más relajado en España es una de las cosas que me encantan del país. Soy alemán y llevo unos 30 años aquí.

The video is quite nice and both speak very slowly and clearly. What I find difficult is a Polish girl teaching Spanish . I would prefer to have a native teacher by far , as no matter how good you are at Spanish , the accent is very different
An native accent is not a concern at all in language learning until advanced level. I’d say if you try and learn from these conversations you’ll get much more value than focusing on an irrelevant detail (assuming you’re not an advanced learner already).

Just to clarify, María comes from Andalucía and I acquired Spanish and lived in the Canary Islands, that's why we have different accents. There is a great variety of accents when it comes to the Spanish language and that is something that fascinates me. 🤓

Spanish person here. I have to disagree with you. Kasia speaks very well Spanish. María is native Andalusian and I can hear she trying to hide her natural accent, which is beautiful but not so comprehensible to foreign students. Both speak clear as you say but I can assure you that if you learn from Kasia, you will learn a quite neutral Spanish accent not Polish-Spanish accent.

También hay que decir que el tratamiento de usted no siempre tiene un uso de respeto si no que curiosamente a veces también se usa para justo lo contrario se trata de una palabra que se dice con intención de reproche disimulado por eso no siempre se toma bien si no es en el contexto adecuado
Lo mismo puede pasar en italiano.

Yo creo que primero se debe utilizar el usted, y la persona interpelada ya te dirá que le hables de tú, si es que así lo quiere. Y dar las gracias siempre tampoco viene mal.

A las 14 h sobre todo en verano no se puede estar en la calle, hace un calor de mil demonios.
Votre espagnol est parfait mais je comprends mieux pourquoi je suis vos vidéos sans trop de difficulté....C'est parce que vous n'êtes pas espagnole. Vous prononcez les mots en articulant bien, vous ne parlez pas trop vite et vous avez un vocabulaire que je maîtrise. De plus vous n'utilisez pas les contractions. C'est avec des personnes comme vous que l'on progresse.
