thats cuz yankee stadium has corners like a minor league field in my town. Its 14 feet more but like bruh the corners in yankee stadium are stupidly short and allow for more home runs in those areas i guess.
@@slayermcrx7519 short porch + wind = that ball somehow getting out. Surprisingly enough though, Yankee stadium is a pitcher friendly ballpark, it’s mainly just the short porch that allows for those little home runs. Pretty much everywhere else is relatively deep though.
Can't wait for Vladdi to start hitting it at better launch angles. He has far too many ground outs at over 110 mph. All he needs to to is get it up 20 degrees and it will be #1.
The reason that you see 500ft+ home runs is because they are in Colorado where the ball carries more because of the altitude if the altitude were normal it would be like 460 ft
Probably didn’t go farther then, it’s the longest homeruns at each angle. I’m sure it gets a little complicated with line drives, I really wonder how they calculate it
@@fred_fotch_baseball ESPN stats are basically just stats that are kinda obscure that no one thinks about, but a lot of people clown on them for it. But I think they’re pretty cool, like this video

No Camden Yards warehouse? Not a legitimate list if that's missing. Edit: oh. This is for 2022 only. Yea. Nobody else will ever hit that warehouse. Ever.
1. It's projected 2. At 48 degrees it would need to clear the wall by only 13 ft to go that distance (regardles of where it appears to land). Pretty close.
A lot of people think that if you hit a ball say 1ft over the fence when the measurement on the wall there says 314ft than they think it's a 315ft HR.That is incorrect. You have to take into consideration the height of the fence and the height above field level too.The ball looked like it landed about 320ft from home plate but the landing spot was probably 12 ft above field level, therefore they got the 327ft measurement.Do you see what im saying? If he only hit it 315 to 320ft the ball is going to hit the fence and still be in play because you still have to clear that 8 to 10 ft wall.
@@danwatne4481 It looks like the ball is falling almost straight down and hits the top of the wall to me. Idc how high the fence is, the ball was no longer traveling away from home plate.
@@brandondillman5841 No HR ever drops straight down. The only way a ball drops straight down is on a pop-up at home plate to the catcher.Even with that exit trajectory the ball is going to be coming down like a fly out to the outfield which is always at an angle .A side view from the right field corner in foul territory would show that the ball was still carrying, albeit for a very short distance but that was only 13ft! Did you think the Ball only went like 315-318ft? I'm just curious
I still can’t get over Schwarber’s HR in San Diego, what a monster. Wish he hit that in Colorado
510 in Colorado at least
He hit one at citi during the nlcs. It was the highest Homer I've seen. I played ball through indy spring training
119.4mph
i think i saw someone say it wouldve went like 523
I agree. It was just memorable by its beauty alone. Almost made the dad holding baby make a play. Never did he think he was an option for landing spot
It’s actually unreal that a sub 100 exit velo ball can be a home run on a 48 degree launch angle. That’s like, textbook deep fly out how in the world?
The magic of Yankee stadium haha.

I’m just imagining a 70 mph or something home run at Yankee Stadium that takes forever to get out 💀 kinda like Rizzo’s hr at the start of the video
Yo the top one would prob be Stanton’s walk off home run against the pirates it went 118 off the bat it was the same inning judge hit is 60th homer

The most effort less looking 504 FEET HOMERUN I have ever seen
Vlads line drive homers are incredible
I love how the end of the video was basically a vladdy-Alonso compilation
Alonso and Guerrero, the kings of line drive homers
Bogaerts as well
Love this channel, thank you for the time you put into these!
Glad you enjoy it!
Gotta give this guy props for finding all these clips and getting the exact info for each hit

I noticed that too. He needs to focus on elevating the ball more.
Gary Sanchez’s homerun was the farthest ball Ive ever seen hit in person. Im a yankee fan but I couldnt help standing and laughing when he hit that

i learned that i have to hit the ball 110mph at a 20-37° launch angle for absolute tanks

These videos are great you should consider making them again

Rizzo is gonna be like the top 10 launch angles isn't he lol
Cool vid. I think it might have been more visually interesting if you alternated high angle and low angle and ended in the middle.
