It is a blessing to hear an apostle of Jesus Christ make a call specifically to the Senior members of the Church. We will be serving starting in April. In a culture where older people are put out to pasture in many ways, it is such a blessing to know the Lord has a need for us.

So grateful for this message. I’ve had a talk with my parents about serving a mission and they truly desired it but weren’t sure if it would be right time. This was exactly what they needed to hear. I pray for our senior couples who are serving and those who are contemplating to serve this can be a great chapter in their lives. I can’t wait to serve a couples mission.

My parents were taught and baptized by the Glines. I will forever be grateful to them for their service in North Texas back when my parents were prepared and ready to receive the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. I was privileged to serve a full time mission, and hope to serve again with my wife when we're able. If you're reading this message, know that I know you can make an everlasting difference in the lives of those you serve. Please heed Elder Rasband's invitation; you won't regret it, nor will those around you!
