You totally got me hooked on Bridgett Swindle.😍 I don't decorate in that style but it's fun to see the homes....I could never have those pictures of "creepy" people on the walls.... their eyes would follow me everywhere 😂. I did make a large bee skep like that but no shed for it. I love your primitive stitching and have used your technique with paint brush to grunge up my stitches. Thanks for your videos! I like your idea of trying to tone down the Turkish red with the Primitive gatherings antique spray. You could try stitching a little bit of the red on a spare piece of the linen, spray it and see if the color is something you're happy with.

Keep using the Turkish red, if you don’t like it you could paint over the stitches with very strong instant coffee using a small paint brush . Just a suggestion!😊

Just a tho’t but you could try to use a Q-tip to lightly touch the areas with the antiquing spray where the Turkish red seems a bit bright. I love your prim Santas! Can’t wait to see them FFO’d. I’m going to do some also but want to stitch them small so I can use them as tree ornaments. I find myself very torn between prim and all the other stuff! I keep getting pulled back into prim and I think I’m going to have to give it a try soon! Hugs and blessings.

I chose Classic Colorworks Chesapeake Bay to replace Kentucky Bluegrass - I already had it and this skein has some darker tones to it mixed with some grays. Will try it and see how I like it. I recently purchased some of the stocking patterns from Carriage House Samplings. I think the Noah pattern is my favorite followed closely by the sampler version. Were you able to fit the sampler version on a fat quarter of 36 ct. or was it a half yard cut?
Hi there, yes the Noah stocking is a good one also. The Sampler Stocking is fitting on a 36 ct fat quarter. Make sure if starting at the top to begin stitching, to orient it on the right side to allow for the toe.
